today has been an insane day for arcs for me, i woke up to 7 approved arcs form entangled publishing that i had filled out for in a form a few weeks backplus some 5 other arcs form netgalley, and right now my review ratio is randomly spinning between 42% and 39%, put off by the reveiws i'm writing, and then downloading the books i wa sinvited for
and one of those five books was somehting i just requested this morning, and was the third of the series, but the description said i could request the first two form the publisher, so i got those two from booksirens.

So, out of the 17 books that I requested on Edelweiss, I got arrpoved for 1, and denied for 7, and 9 are still pending.but I'm not really that sad beacsue I had resigned myself to the fact that I wouldn't get them because they were available only as wish for it on netgalley, and because i already have a lot of stuff from netgalley.
i am sad, just not a lot.
you know what especially pisses me off about netgalley? it's the fact that literally evry single book with indian rep that i can actually relate to, that i'm ownvoices for, is never available for request, and only for wish for it.

like why???? its literally e-arcs like u dont have to pay for intl shipping or anything like that??? international readers make up a huge market for u too why is it that none of the books are able to be requested for
especially big publishers. i rarely see penguin or macmillan or st martin's books open for request. its rlly disheartening

I'm pretty sure you go to the "profile and account" button, and you should see the icon for "friends". you should be able to search up any valid username and then you just add them as a friend.
my name on edelweiss is "Eli Carter"
