Uhmm so I made a new Nergalley account. I did have one before but I deleted it because the constant rejections started getting to me lol.
So, I decided to try again and see what happens.

How do you define overdue? Like past the release date? I did one two days late, but it was fine, I think, and the other is now 3 days late and I still haven't written a review...

I know how it feels. One of the first books I ever requested an arc for on goodreads was Skyhunter and I was so bummed when I didn't get it. Hopefully things go better for you this time

Guys I gave in and downloaded ADE on Windows on the same laptop. It was a surprisingly painless process.

Now if I could just figure out how to get the files onto linux...

Same, but I've not gotten rejected for Hanu and Ishu yet...it's still waiting on approval/rejection, and I'd requested it on 17th of December last year. I don't think I'm getting it.

One of the books I was approved for didn't have an archive date till last week, or actually sometime this week, and so i didn't download it, and ttoday when i went to see my review ratio, i noticed there just wasn't one.
so, what happened was that it magicaly archived on the 22nd, with no warning to poor me, and now i can't download it.
*sighs in frustration*

um, i'm not sure...it's not like it's taking too much space, but then neither is it a very conducive way to be handling this...

for the love of god (i reserve less than polite langage for my nook) not two minutes after that email, i got approved for another arc:

so, i was in a really good mood, and i decided to figure if i could get around the drm if i downloaded the book through ade on windows, and then mailed the .epub file to myself, and then rebooted and changed the os to linux, and opened my mail and redownloaded it and opened it through calibre


and it freaking refused to open. says calibre won't open drm protected stuff.

well, at least it's not .acsm any more.

why hasn't ade come up with an alternative or a version for linux yet!?!? *Frustation*

IT TOOK A LOT OF WRANGLING AND INSTALLING AND READING MULTIPLE FORUM THREADS AND TROUBLEHOOTING UPON TROUBLESHOOTING, AND INSTALLING WINE AND THE NOT WORKING AND THEN INSTALLING OLDER VERSIONS OF SDE AND THEM NOT WORKING EITHER AND THEN FINALLY INSTALLING ADE 2.0 INSTEAD OD 4.5 WHICH IS THE NEWEST FOR IT TO FINALLY OPEN AND WORK
