Buddy Reads Requests

They are definitely out of step, but so far no clear reason is given. Obi-wan is even more anxiety ridden than in JA but with a less clear view of hos long he's had anxiety. I get that some of it comes from how out of step he feels, but the book has made it clear that in the Disney continuity there was no version of being kicked out of the order at 13 if you weren't chosen as an apprentice. Obi-wan's anxiety in JA made complete sense. Here it only kind of makes sense, and since he's so far the only point of view besides a few interludes from an unnamed probably villain, we only get his perspective and are constantly told of his anxiety via his incessant internal monologues.

@Rebecca I finished the Jedi Quest series but I've only read the first book in JA - however don't worry about that, I'd like to hear your thoughts on everything so let it spill.

Given Bad Batch season 2 has at least one direct reference to Karen Travis' Republic Commandos books, is anyone up for buddy reading those five books over the course of year?

sounds good so long as it works for Emily. This is my third time reading the books. Advance warning, the series was never finished. Book five is it. We get no closure.
