I don't read romance novels anymore haven't read one since my 20s which is such a long time ago. I found that the majority of romance novels same story different location. You know the ending by the 2nd chapter they why too predictable.

Annabelle Bryant aka Bella Ryan is the only romance writer I have ever read. Her description in the novel is much like she is in real life.
Thanks for participating gang. What do you want me to do with your 2nd autographed copy Jimmie??? lol
Jimmie wrote: "Brian, the only female romance writer you have on your Goodreads profile is Annabelle Bryant."That, and the combination of letters in both names...
Jimmie wrote: "Brian, can you send a signed book to Chris? She was an active participant in the discussion."Jimmie you are so sweet.
Ruth wrote: "I’ve been without power since 2 am this morning. They are calling it rolling blackouts, but 10 hours? Seems odd."Just long enough to get some heat back into the house hopefully. Hope you have a fireplace. At least that will keep one room warm...
Ruth wrote: "Anyway, power came on but they are saying it will only be on a few minutes...so I need to cook something quick. :("How much snow did you get b/c I seen on the news that TX is expecting up to 6 inches of snow and that an emergency was called. Gonna be a bunch of ambulance chasers out b/c of the fender benders that will happen LOL
I'll bet you are grateful for that wood burner. I hope you have enough wood to see you through. There's always books...lol
Ruth, my daughter said her friend that lives in TX hasn't had electricity since 2:00 a.m this morning and the temp outside is 7 degrees. Didn't know it got that cold out there. Well I guess you are going to have to get solar panels so you won't be without electricity if this happens again. Also I do feel for you because it's probably colder in your house then it is outside. Something doesn't sound right they are giving you 5 minutes of electricity an hour. Sounds to me that this is being done on purpose. My heart goes out to you. I better pull out my kerosene heater in case they to it in PA.
Ruth wrote: "We were just ordered to not bathe or shower. Water treatment plant is without power as well."I'm thankful you have a wood stove...
Does it usually get that cold where you live. All I have to say is wtf something is rotten in Denmark. It's not all of TX is it. The rolling blackouts is what happens in CA.
Brian wrote: "The wind turbines are frozen too...:("This is what they want our country to go to solar and wind. No back up so what happens when it rains for days or as is happening now the windmills freeze. What about all the birds that are being killed because of these windmills guess they don't care about our animals or nature. What a bunch of idiots these people in DC are.
Brian remember Ruth said she only gets electric 5 minutes every few hours. I hope she is okay and I am glad she has that wood burning stove. Ruth is also worried about her elderly neighbors.
Ruth wrote: "No power still. They sent a message saying at least a couple of more days. They turn us on about 5 mins every hour just to get necessities done. I purchased a huge refrigerator last year and the po..."Thanks Ruth...You Are Correct...That's What Neighbors Do...:)
Brian if her electric is out for several days and only goes on 5 minutes every hour the food may go bad. Ruth put some of that food in the snow outside to keep it cold. Maybe I'll call Stephanie to see if she can get in touch with Ruth and she can let us know.
Brian I just came across this article but I am sure you knew about this. Someone is getting a little ticked about TXhttps://www.texastribune.org/2011/02/...
I didn't read the feed if you want to here it is.

Thanks For Sharing These Chris Very Informative...:)
Ruth glad you are okay and you have that wood burning stove. Hope you have enough candles around so you have light and that this doesn't last much longer. You can make smores if you have a sweet tooth. Even though Brian and I live on the east coast we still worry about friends that live all over. I wonder how Jimmie is doing since we haven't heard from him. I don't want to go green b/c it's nor reliable. The blades froze and b/c of the ice made them to heavy for the gizmo that turns them that uses oil couldn't work. Go figure and this is what they want us common people to use. I hope you like PB&J as long as your not allergic to PB. Right now I think that's what I'll eat.
Ruth, I’m glad you are safe. Chris, thank you for your update. I have got home from my annual training Friday in time to miss the ice.
Jimmie wrote: "Ruth, I’m glad you are safe. Chris, thank you for your update. Jimmie did you say you lived in Wyoming, not sure.
Good Morning Ruth Hope You Are Doing Ok. Well, As Ok As You Can Under Prevailing Conditions...Be Safe...
Ruth wrote: "The governor has requested a full investigation into the company that oversees the “grid” and how this has happened. I’m lucky I just have to worry about myself. I feel for families that have small..."The propellers on the windmills had ice on them which made them too heavy for the gizmos that turn them that uses oil (key word) to turn them. Green energy isn't sustainable why do you think they get all these subsidies from the gov't. I learned that anything that the gov't is involved in is unaffordable for us peons. Ruth if you didn't have that wood burning stove you would be freezing your tuccus off. Sorry to hear about your fridge though send the bill to your rep LOL.
I'd Amazon You Over Some Hot Dogs, But Who'd Deliver Them?? Hope You Got Some Bottled Water...Take Care...:)
I'm Watching KXAN Not Sure If Your Near Austin. Looks Like Another Few Inches Of Snow On The Way. Possibility You Could Get Out Later This Afternoon If You Had To. Not Sure If You Listen To KXAN...
I live an hour north of Austin and my nephew is an MBA student at University of Texas. They have been out of power on and off all week. I went out yesterday to get some food supplies. I had to go around the block to keep away from a steep grade leading to my house.
I hope you you picked up chocolate while you were there. Saw a clip of your governor saying that temps are suppose to rise to 60 by Friday. Most of all I hope you are doing fine.
