Tell the friggin idiots in DC that want to do away with our rights. If that's the case they should get rid of their bodyguards and the fence why should they be protected and not us. Have you seen any of these shootings done with a rifle.

We all know that when these amendments were made, they were talking the Daniel Boone guns, not these AK's or AR's,,nope,,they were for these Musk guns, but what the issue at hand is the way these folks are using these certain types of guns for..They are for certain types of killing, and for those who believe that they are for Elk or Deer, even a Grizzly, have them show you a picture of what they shot with these types of guns. Now I don't mind folks who take the courses and are stable, but to just go out and get a 6 day wait and shoot up on the 7th day isn't the way we need to go on this. Everyone who does crimes like these do not have mental issues, they say that to cop out on a few charges...people like this have had time to think and use the correct money, and fill out the paperwork. I have to ask why nothing was done when SandyHook went down and nothing was pushed at that time.

Here's the deal Ruth, you heard of these Ghost Guns right? These are guns that folks, your average Joe Blow and Sally's can get thru Amazon or whoever sells them. They are models that you put together and BOOM you have a gun. Now they are hand-held, and some come with a Bumper, some don't. People kill people for different reasons, but they all have a reason...Your son shoots targets, that's not the folks killing folks. I have issues with folks who go out and buy, then days later they kill, and they use the mental issue. We have a law here in the State of Colorado where if you have mental issues, then you can't buy, but yet every state and I do mean EVERY state has a back alley,,,,you know what I mean (smile ) I think the charges on these folks needs to be very strong. People just can't go around and kill and throw up that Mental issue. The Aurora Theater killing was going to be a Doctor in Neuro, and because he flunked a test, that guy went bezerk. 1 test,,,,He could have re-tested, smart kid, but a dumb move....Chunky Cheese murder,,,killed 6 because he got fired from a supervisor who fired Nathan and then after went to Vail to ski, and Nathan shot up the pizza place. Now we have Columbine, who those kids loved the games on the Nitendo system, and shot up a school in all black gear....Now King Soopers, where this guy was bullied in school in 2017, and now at 2021 he grabs a gun,,Now I was thinking maybe the bully was working at King Soopers, I am waiting to see about that one...But here we have the NFL killer who people are saying he may have that CTE, but we won't know until his brain is in Forensic , but every week its something with a gun in hand. The guy who shot all those folks in massage parlors because he said that he had some type of sex issue, well tell me how he passed up about 5 tittie bars to shoot up these massage places ? When SandyHook and all them little ones were gunned down, I thought for sure something was going to happen, and nothing..I don't have an answer for all these mass killings, its just getting worse by the weeks. If they ban assaults all together, then what about the folks that already have them? Do they have to turn them in, or get a hefty fine, or what? Who would actually turn in an assault that they paid about 800.00 for? that's not going to work...what do you think Ruth?

Just the other day watching the news they were interviewing a relative of a guy that was shot and killed by the police in Philly who pulled a gun out. Person said no reason he should of been shot. Yeah he had a gun, cop said was he permitted to carry oh no it was a ghost gun. Whoever had the idea for these guns and the people that sell them or advertise them should be the ones in jail. These are the guns that the bad guys are putting together since there is no way to trace or register them. Stephanie you and I both know that AK47s are illegal. Also most of the shooting is being done by handguns not shotguns. Back in the day if you at any time had a mental illness or went to a psych hospital you were not allowed to purchase a firearm. They should enforce the laws that are on the books and not make new ones.

We have to agree that kids can't be kids anymore. I say that all this tech that is out is ruining our kids. How often do you see them outside playing like we did when growing up. They are all glued to a screen. I thank God that I never got rid of the Dr. Seuss books that I bought years ago.

My niece wasn't happy when she got in trouble when she tried to teach her class cursive but straw that broke the camel's back is when they got rid of the textbooks and gave the kids I-Pads for learning. She said enough was enough and she quit in the middle of the school year. She loved her kids but she said that her kids weren't learning at the rate that they were previously. Future generations don't even know how to have a discussion anymore b/c of al the texting they do. This is our future. OH, I remember when my mom and dad bought us 3 pads of BIG CHIEF paper, because the cursive was about to begin in school. I would have to debate about the games, because 99% of the games are made in CHINA, yep, and why is it that the Chinese kids aren't getting hooked on them like our kids? The reason why China doesn't have a gun problem and kid verses the game problem is because they have,,,drum roll please.......STRICT LAWS....Thats what we need. And I know you all are going to get mad when I say this, but there needs to be a designated channel for 18 and over for punishment/lethal injection. Now I am sounding like our BOTM...But we have to set some example to stop all this mess, and so far nothing has worked, nothing....As far as the Dr. Suess books, now that shocked the bezizzles out of me, because I never would have thought Dr. Suess????? Who has all this time to bring up all this stuff about whats right and whats wrong???? What about chocolate brownies from Duncan Hines? is that going to be swept off the shelves? and I was sooo upset about Uncle Ben's rice, and Aunt J, those is what I grew up with, and lets not forget, TOO WONG FOO,,thanks for everything Heidi Lamarr...what would John Swaze think now...Or how about Ghost with Whoopi? are Caucasian folks upset because a ghost is white? If I was in school, say the 7th grade, I would have already flunked, because its hard to stay in front of a computer trying to learn. I seen my grandkids Kindergar, and I seen one kid asleep and a few not paying attention to the teacher, and of course I had to sit there and actually see just how this is working, because even though one twin was getting it with the teacher, the other twin of mine was looking at me and asking me what I was doing today...I stopped going over there during the week because I just don't want to step in when I don't know when school starts on the laptop. I am so glad that I have no direct little ones to try and guide on this laptop stuff....Now who has any, ANY idea why this football player killed the Doctor and his family and grandkids?

Well, now that the George Floyd case is now wrapping up besides the sentencing, does anyone want to have a discussion about it? Do you think when the A.G opens up cases mainly in the state of Minnesota, that they will find many or few cases that are questionable?

Of course they are going to find more. A lot of cases are going to be opened. Crump is going to die a rich man. I just want all this rioting to stop no matter where you live and the politicians in DC should stay out of it.

Chris, how did you feel when Trump told all those marchers to march on Jan 6th? Did that offend you or was it just Trump talking and some folks just passing this comment thru one ear? You see, this is what you call Free Speech, and thats what I told others when Trump made that speech about going to The Capital,,,its what folks do IF they participate. I told my mom that Crump reminds me of those ambulance chasers....you know the atty's that get ahold of you when you get into a fender bender...

I wasn't crazy about Trump's speech but he said to march and protest PEACEFULLY wherein Waters said if we don't get the right verdict we are going to get in your face. If they had a trial for Chauvin then should have a trial for the officer that shot Babitt but that was swept under the rug. Laws should pertain to everyone not just certain people.

Then you have the cop that shot the 16 year old that was going after the girl with a knife. The cop should of tased her instead of using his gun. He saved 1 girl and killed another this should be interesting. There are a lot of all races being killed by cops but you don't even hear crickets about that. If you listen to a cop when he says put it down or whatever you will get home safely but these people that are getting shot do what they want. True there are bad cops out there but what about all the good ones they are being targeted for no reason.

As far as the last shooting with the girl with the knife in her hand, I would have dropped her too. You have to be in range when you use a taser, and I don't know if the police officer was. I looked at the girls father who was kicking a girl in the head and then yelling that his baby girl was shot, and wondering why he didn't stop her before the cops got there, remember, she came out swinging with a knife, and I think that whole situation was bad parenting and then to find out that she was in a Foster home for serious issues and parents couldn't control her, not understanding what that is about, but sometimes folks put themselves in a bad situation. As far as Trump saying peacefully, I didn't hear that word peacefully, but then again, I seen what was headed by him making that speech, which he shouldn't have because many in the WH are rubble rousers and I just don't get why many broke in the capital,,,,now they are blaming Trump,,,I don't believe I know about the Babitt case, I try and keep up with the well known ones, so maybe that one flew by quick. I do know that Minnesota has had nothing but police issues, and I heard this way back when...My concern is how did they allow Chauvin continue to work after so many write ups in his file? Believe you me, they are going to question many, especially the Chief, because from my understanding, the average is 1 write up for every 3 years,,,If Chauvin has 17 or 18 in a 19 year on the force, then that's pretty bad. Every Police Force and Crim Justice employee has 2 bad for every 75, which isn't bad, but its not good when you have 1 bad officer doing something and many look away. Auntie Max is no different than the rest who speak out, like Jim Jordan, and Mitch and Lindsey, It seems to me that the loudest always gets re-elected.except for Trump, who I thought was just over-board on some of the things he said...We have alot of good cops here, you won't hear about them until they make a good dent or bad dent, Yeah Chris, many are being killed, but the majority seem to be black men, then black women, and then The others,.It was just a matter of time before the fire started, and it has....I think the one that hit me the most is Breanna Taylor who was sleeping, I just couldn't believe it...Then the jogger, then George Floyd...Just touches my heart,,,but this last one with the knife is just what we seen, a cop[ doing his job,,,I think if he didn't shot, and the girl killed the girl in the oink, then there would be something else to say,,,so your damned if you do, and..well you heard that line before....Just sad cases...

Stephanie Babbit was the ONLY person killed at the Capital. The police opened the doors for them to come in. There were no guns found on anyone and the people that were arrested are still sitting in jail but these ppl that destroyed businesses and looted are walking the streets. As far as Trump is concerned he should of stayed off of twitter but when you have the news spewing hatred we have a problem. Check out Project Veritas on Youtube and see what they have found out with their investigative reporting. The cop that died afterwards died of natural causes (allegedly hit in head with fire extinquisher). All these black men women and children getting killed it is black on black and this is from the Fed Stats. You tell me why the shooting in Vegas at the Mandolin Hotel just got coverage for a few days but other ones got coverage for weeks. CBS butchered DiSantis' interview to fit their narrative.

I can't believe what is happening in our country now. Ruth they are teaching hate in the public schools and it's only getting worse. Some people are just miserable and have to find something wrong with everything maybe if these people would pick up a book and read the true history of our country they would understand all the hardships all races went through. Also FB, Google, Twitter, etc. isn't helping. What really got me upset when I read an article that they want Home Depot to be boycotted because HD wouldn't take sides in the GA law that was passed. Bottom line is that no one can have an opinion anymore. So there goes the debate clubs in school. Ruth I remember growing up when my dad's best friend was an black woman in work. When we went to her house to visit her neighbors would come over and we would have a blast. I use to to say she was my Aunt Nellie and her neighbors got the biggest kick out of it.

They tore up the place, pooped and pissed, and called out certain folks. I believe that they are sitting in jail because they were not allowed in the Capital whether they had guns or not. Building a lynching pole within 5 minutes was just, well,,,In America there are so many opinions, and so many different rules for many, that's why there are so much sadness, and hurt. Not on Twitter, but I watch alot of arts and crafts on Youtube. PBS is a good channel for me...

I don't know if you watch any videos of the the Capital but I kid you not the police opened the doors for the people to come in. I am not saying that all the people were law and orderly but there were people that were just walking inside the velvet ropes not touching anything and then there were ppl that were destroying things. This is what is wrong with the news they didn't show the whole picture they showed what some politicians wanted for their narrative. No one came into the capital with guns. I also think that the fences are still up because congress is in deep crap and it is there to protect them but remember according to some politicians walls are the answer. Good for me but not for thee, What hypocrites. You do know that when Waters went to Chaveun trail she demanded police protection she broke federal law. I don't know what history you want me to read, but I know about my history, and I don't know about the tactics that the KKK used and when, I don't keep up with alot of the who shot John stuff. Auntie Max is like a rubble rouser, and Never liked My Pillow guy, wayyyy before he got famous. We bought a pillow way back in 2012, and used it, and the stuffing came out, returned it by mail, and to make a long story short, he tried to charge us for 2 shipments on my credit card, so If I don't like him, its because of what he tried to charge me...haha, over 2 pillows...I blame both sides, both are acting like a bunch of cry babies. They were voted in to serve the American folks, and all I hear is how to get illegal folks in illegally...Caitylyn Jenner is now filed to run, this I gotta see...I don;t think she will make it, but I didn't think Trump would, but he did,,,so we will see...

Congress and Senators are nothing but a joke now. God forbid if Jenner wins . If you look back on these people that are suppose to represent us the longer in office the more they go against the constitution. There should be more average people in congress which there aren't. The richer you are the better your chance is to get elected. Look at Biden's cabinet, most of them have shady pasts and to pack the supreme court b/c there aren't enough dems in it just gives me chills. Whatever they promise they do the opposite. I see it in my state reps the first term they were doing what their constituents wanted after they got in for a 2nd term it is what their party wants. But we don't have to worry about that now b/c now Hollywood, sports and corporations are telling us what to do. It's just sick. I do believe that the police department has to be reformed because it sure in hell isn't what is was when I was younger.
