Mahi Ahmed | 2 comments So the main character's dad died. His dad had powers but the son never knew. Later he gets powers too. His powers include enhance strength and speed. Apparently he got a super long first step too. After he got his powers he wanted to fight a bully. The bully's name might have started with S. Maybe Steve or something. He thought it was a fist fight but the bully was a football player so he football style tackled him. Later he finds out that there are villains trying to kill him and he has to defeat them. That's how his dad died. His dad used to play basketball maybe in college. Later he meets this old man who helps him by training him and testing him. But its not clear if he's good or bad. There's also a girl who likes the main character. Her name might start with an L. She knows he has powers. Once she writes on his laptop not to trust anyone. He doesn't realize it was her. Later the old man saves him and in doing so sacrifices himself. Before he died he told the main character that he was his grandpa. Apparently the powers he had ran in the family. but the grandpa was the first person to use them for evil or personal gain. He called himself the 'black sheep' of the family. I read this book in either 2013 or 2014.

Mahi, is this book for kids or teens?

I added a few details to the header/topic title. You can update it by clicking the small "edit" link after the header. This only works on the full Desktop website - not the Mobile website or app. (On the Mobile website, click the "Desktop version" link at the bottom of the page.)

Well I checked it out from my middle school library when I was in 6th or 7th grade. So its probably for people ages 11-16 something like that.
