Alexander McCall Smith series clarifications

It appears the other series has had some changes of name as it developed. On the U.S. version of McCall Smith's website, it is now referred to as "Professor Dr Von Igelfeld Entertainments", but it certainly used to be called the "Portuguese Irregular Verbs" series, so my vote would go to either of those. They all should have the same name within the series anyway. I haven't made any changes there, awaiting further input.

As for the other series, obviously I'll leave it to you. I was just pointing out the inconsistency. In the end they just all need the same linking name plus a # .
Will watch with interest.

Here is the A McCall Smith page for this series:
https://www.goodreads.com/series/4376...
Books #2 and #3 have been series named using the title of #1 which is clearly wrong.
The combination book (stories #1-3)
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/8...
is called by the same series name as the title but the series name is different on the title field page.
It would seem to make sense to call the whole series Von Igelfeld, which is the one name that seems to link them all.
Wondering what you think about this? At the moment it is difficult to work out which are the connected books in this series.
In addition 44 Scotland St, the first book in the series of the same name, should have the series name in the title field

as well as on the book's own page to help with searching.

Do hope that all this makes sense!
Thank you for your help
