Marian Dribus | 4 comments I'm currently accepting review requests from self-published authors who write young adult fiction! I've been blogging since August, and I try to review a different book each week. You can see my review policy on my website at https://www.mariandribus.com. I'm a self-published author, too, so I understand how hard it is to find an audience. I hope I can help!

Sherrie Miranda (sherriemiranda) | 75 comments My protagonist is a very young 23 year old.

"Crimes & Impunity in New Orleans" follows the dramatic story of naive, sheltered Shelly going to “The Big Easy” to prepare for El Salvador, but has no idea she will encounter sexism and witness racism as well as illegal activities by government agents.

Author, Sherrie Miranda's husband made the trailer for "Crimes & Impunity in New Orleans." He wrote the music too.

Review: Shelly’s journey in “the city that care forgot.”
Sherrie Miranda’s new novel “Crimes and Impunity in New Orleans” puts the reader into a whirlwind of political protests, abusive police, sexist attitudes towards women, and “good old boys” racism in 1980’s New Orleans. Miranda’s second novel follows Shelly, the young northerner, as she quickly finds out that she “isn’t in Kansas anymore” while encountering a slew of picturesque, colorful characters. Reading her book makes you wonder if justice and respect for blacks, immigrants, and women can be reality in America.

Hi Marian,
I have a dystopian sci-fi novel called Game of Mass Destruction. Before I send you it over, I wanted to say that it does have violence, sex and high profanity so I wanted to check if you’re okay with that before I send it over.

Marian Dribus | 4 comments Hi Chloe,
My blog is only for books that are appropriate for teenagers, so unfortunately, it doesn't sound like your book would be a good fit due to the mature subject matter. I wish you the best of luck with your future writing, though!

Caryl McAdoo (carylmcadoo) | 4 comments Hello Marian!
I'm a Christian author and have a dystopian written for young adults titled The Kings Highway--it's book one in the Days of Dread Trilogy. It could happen tomorrow or this year, so who knows how futuristic it is:)

An EMP is exploded over Kansas and the United States (as far as the young characters are concerned--there's no communication) that throws everything back into the nineteenth century--no electricity, no computers, and no parents are at home with 15 yr. old Jackson, his 12 yr old sister McKenzie, and 6 yr old brother Cooper.

Planes are falling from the sky, cars are caput, there's no plumbing or fresh water coming out of the pipes after a couple of days. Gangs roam the streets, enslaving those weaker.

After waiting 4 days for his mother to return from downtown Dallas, a couple of murders in his neighborhood, and he decides he has to get his siblings to the safety of his grandparents farm in Honey Grove, about 100 miles away.

On the journey they find a 14 yr old boy and then a 16 yr old girl who they 'save' that go with them,. Oh yes and a big Great Pyrenees named Boggs. God helps them along the way though an angel unaware.

It's gotten great reviews, I'd be happy to send you a PDF or mobi file (which do you read?) I thank you for the opportunity to find new readers! Blessings!

Mackain Destin | 3 comments Marian,

I have PDF, kindle, and it's also available on Kindle Unlimited. Email me at mackainw.destin@outlook.com, or message me if the following sounds interesting.

A 2nd post-apocalyptic world where the only surviving humans live on the supercontinent Geo-Saun. The story follows five teens who are summoned, but not for the purpose they expect.

This books does not revolve around characters getting stronger or achieving a lofty dream through battle and friendship. Rather, Mortal Legacy revolves around the brutal realities of forced obligations with themes of recurring pain, stolen freedom, and perseverance.

Follow Tess, like Gregg from Diary of a wimpy kid, a young psychopath in their own witty adventure.

If you liked the Hunger games and Percy Jackson books, you'll enjoy this!

My books are for ages 16 & up.
They both teach about a time in history that should not be forgotten.
