So far 20 of the 31 prompts I've completed this year have been written by POC (my goal was 30/40 so if I finish it out that way I'll be close...we'll see) but this book in particular I wanted to read because I've owned it for over a year now so I didn't double dip on this category. The book is very well written and also about tough topics. It feels very realistic to me which is both good and also very sad. Definitely recommended. I'm going to search out another book by this author for next year's challenge.
