Piouloulou | 11 comments Hi Guys!
I'm looking for a book I read during quarantine... But I don't remember nor the title, neither the author. The cover may have changed but there was a blond woman from neck to knees I think. And she was wearing a green dress. I feel like there was a guy too but I'm not sure. I don't know the time the book was published, but it was modern enough, and the story took place nowadays I think.
The book was a romance/new adult genre. The story was about a blond model that only has one-night stands with guys. But then, there's a Texan businessman (not sure he was Texan) that notices her on a billboard, and they happen to be both invited to dinner party that same night or week, not quite sure. He comes as a new possible collaborator of her father's company or something. The girl has very bad relationships with her father, as in he uses her for his business if he feels the need to, and turns a blind-eye on the fact that younger she has been raped by some guy he tries to make her marry. Her mother doesn't believe neither. The Texan businessman wants more with her than a typical one-night-stand, and though there is huge attraction between them, he resists until she eventually caves in. There was definitely a love at first sight moment between them. And there is a happy-ending for the lead couple.

I hope this sounds familiar to somebody.

Have a nice day!

Piouloulou.

You're welcome.

Piouloulou | 11 comments The story was also written in a Nora Roberts' style. I really thought it was hers for a moment. But I have already checked her books and didn't find it.
