I regret.
In search of bleach for my brain ever since.

Trisha (semi-hiatus) (booksreviewsandprocrastination) | 5341 comments OH MY GOD YOU"RE FACING THEM TOO?

Trisha (semi-hiatus) (booksreviewsandprocrastination) | 5341 comments do you report them?

Trisha (semi-hiatus) (booksreviewsandprocrastination) | 5341 comments ii report every single one

Trisha (semi-hiatus) (booksreviewsandprocrastination) | 5341 comments the officials say they have been taking over genuine accounts, and then following people like us
the accounts they take over are of people who are inactive GR users

Trisha (semi-hiatus) (booksreviewsandprocrastination) | 5341 comments the easiest thing to do when you want to ensure they are apam accounts is to look at the link
if it ends in .xyz, it's most likely a spam account
i just open such liks in a new tab, and if it redirects a lot and ends up on a nude pics website, i straightaway report them
and block them
though i recently unblocked them when the officials removed the website listed

I opened the link in incognito...so as not to pollute my web history.
Ah, yes. You can kinda tell if they are spam or not.
But that profile genuinely looked very realistic so I just wanted to confirm

Why unblock tho?
They are still trolls and not the real profiles...

Trisha (semi-hiatus) (booksreviewsandprocrastination) | 5341 comments oh yes, i unblocked ebcause sometimes the comments look weirs and such( is usspect some of the genuine comments have disappeared form my view), but i regularly check whether they are still up to shenanigans
like right now, i checked that a user i had flagged a few days back had still not been divested of their spam website
so i reflagged it

Trisha (semi-hiatus) (booksreviewsandprocrastination) | 5341 comments only report the ones that do not have a photo, other wise it's a real chore

Oh okay

Trisha (semi-hiatus) (booksreviewsandprocrastination) | 5341 comments Trisha wrote: "only report the ones that do not have a photo, other wise it's a real chore"

i feel that sentnce wasn't complete; only report the ones that don't have a photo, and flag the ones that do
best would be to flag under inappropriate/explicit, and report under spam/abuse

message 2280: by Akshita (new)

Akshita | 823 comments How do we flag or report them tho..?

message 2281: by Akshita (new)

Akshita | 823 comments I can't see an option somewhere.

i know right?!?!! I'm debating whether i should find it online and secretly watch it, or not watch it because it would be awkward if then one day my parents decide to watch it with us(hwich is so not likely, but oyu never know)(one needs to prepare for everyhtign)

It is great! I really enjoyed it, but there is quite some sex in there, even immediately in the beginning. So I don't think you'll parents will watch it with you (unless they're the kind of parents who don't mind that ofcourse) :P I heard the books are great too!

Akshita | 823 comments My parents never watch English movies or shows with us. ( Not that I would like to watch teen dramas and stuff with them anyway)
So I always secretly watch them on my own. 🤫

umm..i didn't get you
did you mean if it's those ratings, then your parents do watch along with you?

no, my parents will watch along if it's something they like
if it's like a teen drama, then i will watch it by my own, but i do have to tell them what i plan on watching, in which case it's okay if ti's 13+/16+, or even 18+ if it's like handleable
