Well I wasn't as eager to start this after learning and observing and discerning from various sources hat darkling ad slina were most likely not endgame. Do not spoil his in the comment I till hold outhope for mal dying.

This book ws soooo sloooow. I hated every minute of lving theouh thi when it fianlly gets interstig round the end because we had more of the Alina in the first book.

That being said Nikolai was perhqps my faviurite vharacter amd i was heqvily shipping him with Alina because those two would have been amazing together but book you want mal Alina.

In the previous booki didn't like mal much becaus eof his possessive and jealous and entittled nd assholeish bechavoour and th is nookhad nit changed my view on that particular stance. Why does he not just die.

This might be one of the first book where I'm so against the canon ship becaus eusually the author makes me fall in love with the canon ciuple.

That reminds me of another point I wanted to mak in Thai review. He anyone noticed that the first two books are literally the same plot outline.

Alina and co get kidnapped by the darkling. Alina and co escape fronthe darkling. Talina and co get kidnapped again by the darkling. Alina and co escape again fro the darkling. And oh you remember when you thought he dearlkling might have died. He diddnt.

I don't even know whether I want to recommend this to anyone. So I'm just not saying anything here.
