Ok, Thanks! I'm following 170. Tho plenty of them aren't active anymore. I get like 6-8 notifs when i wake up in the morning..

yeah, i keep removing the inactive ones, by switching the prefernce to none....most of those are from the ya buddy readers group, so whenever the thread is reset, i get loads of new notifs
also, i don't follow any chat threads excpt ones really impostant to me, and any someone vs. someone or book discussion posts, i just can't deal with those the notifs drive me crazy
i have naywhere between 10-40-50 notifs when i wake up...it really depends on the day and sometimes it's just random

Yeah. After a BR, I leave the thread just like that, and don't change the settings until it's reset.
I follow only 2 TMR nookies, "wanted" and challenges threads from YA BR group and a few random ones that I don't really check anymore.

Sometimes I do get 10+ notifs, but that's mainly if people are liking or commenting on some updates.

that's my problem, i follow a lot of nookies when i'm actually reading and commenting and stuff on only like 5.you know what, i'll go and unfollow those nookies right now.
same with the ya br group, i follow all of my team's threads, the wanted threads, and the brs i'm in.

earlier their website names used to somehting like username.somerandomnumber.somehting, but now they're like somelink.somerandomnumber/somehtingso..., but i always know when it's fake. it's like an inner voice which goes this looks shady, open it in an incognito window
