January is Fantasy With Action/Adventure Month

Nominate a book you'd like to vote for to read with a fantasy theme and action/adventure elements.

Here are the other considerations:

1. One nomination per group member. The books must be nominated with a Goodreads link by clicking on 'add book/author'. If a book does not have a Goodreads link, it will not be added to the poll.
2. Books need to be readily available, ie, in print (able to buy new or in ebook format).
3. Books should have some degree of action/adventure content.
4. Past group reads are not eligible to be nominated again. The past group discussions remain open for members to comment. You can view the list of past reads here:

https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

5. Books must be either standalone or first in a series (or they may be later in a series if constructed to be read as a standalone).
6. Authors are asked not to nominate their own books or solicit nominations from members.

Please feel free to include a blurb for the book so others know a little about the book, along with your Goodreads book link.

The poll will go up on December 25th.

I couldn't find a description of the plot on Goodreads, John. Can you describe it for us or paste the synopsis? Thanks!

I hope you don't find this in bad taste, but I want to nominate my new book, Steal the Reaper. It is not a fantasy novel. It's an action-packed, modern-day sci-fi/tech..."

Hi Todd, Rule #6 below states "Authors are asked not to nominate their own books or solicit nominations from members."

As such, I have removed your nomination from this thread.

You may post information on your book in our "Promotions" thread. Thanks!

Hi, Jamie. Is this a fantasy novel?"

Hmm, all this time I was under the impression it was (it's tagged by some people as fantasy) but now looking into it, it might not be strong enough of the genre. We can totally withdraw this nomination, my apologies.

It's fine if it is a fantasy. I just wasn't sure based on the description. We can still add it to the poll. Thanks for clarifying.

I found a synopsis on Amazon. This one is not a fantasy’s novel by the synopsis so I didn't add it to the poll.
