Kim returns to the basement to search for Suzie’s body and finds the girl alive! Did you see that as a possibility? Why was Kim so committed to Jenny Cotton and bringing her daughter’s remains home?

Lynn (ftbooklover) Because she continued to be mentioned in the story, I thought it was a possibility, but the skeptic in me just assumed he body would be the only thing found. Kim's commitment goes back to the death of her brother.

Lisa - (Aussie Girl) Wow, that was a great surprise, I really didn't think there was a chance that Suzie was alive. I'm sure because of Kim's background with Mikey she is determined to bring any missing child back.. and if she can't bring them back alive she aims for closure.

Robin (robinmy) | 2466 comments I knew Kim would do everything in her power to bring Suzie's body back to her mother. I really didn't expect them to find Suzie alive.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1812 comments Suzie's still being alive was a surprise for me too.

I didn’t see that coming but must admit, when Kim walked in that room, I was hoping...

It was important to Kim to find Suzie’s remains because she saw that was all Jenny had left to hold onto. This woman lost everything when her daughter was abducted and Kim wanted to give her something back.

Brenda ~The Sisters~Book Witch I expected Kim to find Suzie alive but the author got me because I thought for a minute Kim found her dead. I would have been heartbroken and an angry reader for that. lol
