I read the series recently, it is a good romance, with a love triangle but it's not exactly dystopian and well, I think it's overhyped, but you should read it, many people love it due to different reasons so maybe you'll enjoy it as well! But the books are definitely page turner so be prepared.

Big time fan of the Cruel Prince series but I've already reread those this year. I loved all the books but some people do find the first book slow. I believe the series is worth it even if you find the first book so so.
