I created it, I also use my phone but it works with it as well. You find the thread here in the same folder with this thread

Shera (Book Whispers) (sherabookwhispers) | 382 comments I know I was chatting with someone here about Daughter of No Worlds (The War of Lost Hearts, #1) by Carissa Broadbent . Because we both bought it. Sadly I can't remember who!

I was thinking about doing a buddy read for it. Not right away, so no pressure.

Jamie (mashpotatoqueen) | 2 comments Hi, so I was thinking of starting Red Storm Rising Red Storm Rising by Tom Clancy on like Tuesday or wednesday and if anyone is interested in Buddy Reading this with me it would be awesome.

I just got a message from my library that my hold is ready for me to retrieve it :)

message 667: by Medha (new)

Medha (ideas_are_bulletproof) | 47 comments oh okay! So when do you want to start?

Library is closed now for a week because of renovations. Then I get my book. I have other books already planned for February, would starting on 21st work for you?

Medha (ideas_are_bulletproof) | 47 comments yeah sure that's cool :)

Wanda North | 5 comments Dumb question since I’m new here. How does buddy reading work here? Sounds really neat to do. Thanks for your help!

message 673: by Shera (Book Whispers) (last edited Mar 13, 2022 08:24PM) (new)

Shera (Book Whispers) (sherabookwhispers) | 382 comments All you have to do is put the title that you want to read out there, see if anyone else wants to do it. Once you have a person or people then someone makes a thread.

From there you'll decide when to do it and all the hows.

Hope that helps.

Zornitsa (notloltoday) | 4 comments Hi! I'm thinking of starting The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood or Ride the Wind by Lucia St. Clair Robson. Let me know if anyone is interested in a buddy read.

Oh, nice, what's your review?

message 679: by Lisette (new)

Lisette (illusie) | 1284 comments I gave it 3 stars. This book was hard to rate. Some parts I didn't care for, while other parts where very good. It was hard for me to get into the book. I think I had to get used to the writing style. It took me a while to start to like Daunis. Near the end of part one I was wondering if I should stop reading. I kept reading because I like Jamie and because others said the book got better. So I persevered. I'm glad I did, because the pacing picked up in part two. The mystery part of the book was good. The romance was lacking. I didn't feel their emotions. What I enjoyed in this book was learning more about the culture of Native Americans. It was very interesting. Overall I enjoyed this book.

I am also finding it difficult to keep going, for the same reasons I think but I do want to complete it now that I have picked it up.

I thought it was worth to keep reading. How far along are you with the book? Maybe all the comments from the original thread for this book will help you keep going

I am on chapter 3rd, not too far in. Yes, that seems like a good idea.

message 683: by Lisette (new)

Lisette (illusie) | 1284 comments not very far yet. I had the feeling of wanting to stop later than you. Maybe give it a few more chapters and if you then still don't really like it then stop
