So I read this book in highschool so between 2010-2014 and it didnt strike me as a brand new book. I remember that it focuses on the main boy from a tribe. The planet has lots of tribes that go to war with eachother and with the very large creatures. I believe that at one point he breaks some bones and or gets sick and his tribe essentially leave him for dead in his like Hut. Also at some point a like silver sphere crashes?? in or near the tribe. A girls comes out. She ends up taking care of the hurt boy as she is from an advanced society and knows stuff. I also remember them not being able to speak the same language and the other tribal people being very scared of her influence in change. Thank you in advance for reading this.
