To be a series on Goodreads, books need to have more than a common theme -- instead sharing characters, an overarching storyline, a shared universe, etc.
Is it the case here? Otherwise we can make it a list :)

This is a 8 volume anthology of Premchand, there is no shared universe and very few characters are common in more than 3 stories, and I think no character appear in 5+ stories.
