QUESTION!! Does it have to be the exact city? I have a book called Strawberries by Casey Bartsch and according to the synopsis (I haven’t read it yet) it takes place at least partially in Wisconsin. I live in Wisconsin. The city is made up though, there isn’t a “Pleasure” Wisconsin at least as far as I’ve ever heard.

So my question would be would it have to be the exact city I live in or could it be the state?

Otherwise I’ll have to do audiobook here. I doubt I’ll ever find a book taking place in my little town haha

Hey Samantha! Thanks for the question because I’m sure you aren’t alone in wondering. Like all of our prompts, we are flexible. It’s whatever feels good for your reading lists. So, I’m choosing a book from my state instead of city. I might find one more local, but I live in Amish country and would prefer not to read an Amish mystery/life/love story. Hope this helps!

I will read Slovenian author. Last year released some new crime thrillers set in Ljubljana and Maribor and will probably read them. I live in a city called Novo mesto and we only have a few historal dramas/plays that set there and I don't want to read them.

Audiobooks I listen al the time. But they aren't available in my language so I listened only from audible.
