It's not bad enough there are 2 Jessie Lewises but the name can also be Jesse Lewis! I was confused just writing the requests.

Danielle, it appears that both those short stories are removed from AHA. The link in my review space worked in January but now comes up blank. The author may be thinking to publish them with other short stories, or maybe just concerned about the plagiarism epidemic. She would not be the only author who is removing her work.

I just got a free Regency book or novella, and it's not on Goodreads.

Lily for my Enemy by Laura Rollins.

Could you add the book? In fact, the author page for this author seems to be very bare bones, and even though she has many Regencies recently published, there's not even any pictures. No description, no picture. So odd.

For some reason she has her Goodreads profile as L.G. Rollins. The book is here Lily for My Enemy

She controls her profile and Amazon listing so she controls how her name is listed on both pages so while I can't change the book's author names to match her Amazon profile or they would not show on the author page she made on Goodreads.

I don't know how you figured that out unless you looked closely at the covers to see how she has her name. I didn't even notice her name. Maybe GR should get rid of the other author listing, which isn't her official page?

Got them combined! Someone added a whole new book rather than just adding a new edition of the same book so they were not linked.

Hi Elin! I have the 2 books combined so they show up under the same title, just as different editions. I think the issue you had was because the book was not created as a new edition but a new book altogether and your author name needs an extra space (see below) between your first and last name because there is another author on Goodreads with the same name. The only way to differentiate between authors with the same name is to add an extra space between the first and last name. Not the best way to handle the situation but that is how Goodreads works, hopefully a new and better way can be found. :-)

No worries, if you get the details early please let me know and I can add it now and once it has the ASIN or ISBN in Goodreads it shouldn't add it again because it will see the numbers and skip it, at least it does 99% of the time.

I received a PM from Joana Starnes this morning about a GR listing for her short story at Austen Variations. Her name is misspelled. She was thinking someone was trying for a scam or something. I told her I think it was just another failure to proofread when the story was listed.

She doesn't mind if it remains on GR but "spell my name right".

Can you move this story to Joana's page for her?
