I asked over in the weekly check in thread, general consensus seemed to be either no opinion, fine to move on for selecting a new book. Don't feel any pressure if you haven't gotten to the Invisible Life of Addie LaRue, I won't be closing any of the threads. You can join in whenever you get it read!

So here is a suggestion thread for what to read next.

Same rules as usual apply:

1) Please don't just list books you're planning to read. Give a sentence or two on why you think we should read a book as a book club.

2) If you made a suggestion before, please re-submit it for this time to be included. I won't be going to past suggestion threads, this is a new round.

3) If someone already listed something you like/what you would suggest, you can "vote " for it by adding support. You can add your own reasoning why you think we should read it.

After that, we'll gather up the books that have the most support and put them into a proper poll for the final selection.

Megan | 244 comments I'm going to go in a different direction this time and suggest November 9. We've done a lot of SciFi/Fantasy type things, so maybe it would be interesting to do something outside of that vein. Colleen Hoover is always good for bringing up discussion points, and this is one of her less frequently read titles, so it might be new to more people.

I've never read Colleen Hoover and I like the idea of going in a different direction, so I'll second Megan's suggestion! It's good for me to branch out :)

(plus it'll probably be way easier to get a loan in a timely fashion with an older book!)

Haha might be older but it’s a 16 week hold at my library, at least for digital ebook. I can look into my friends library or physical if I need to though

Alexa | 40 comments I don't know how many people do the PopSugar reading challenge, but the list for 2021 just came out: https://www.popsugar.com/entertainmen...

I would also like to resubmit All Creatures Great and Small

November 9 is available in my inter-library loan. So I'm up for that in this unofficial vote.
