I read Victory Colony, 1950 by Bhaswati Ghosh, where one of the characters is a refugee. https://cdnbookworm.blogspot.com/2021...
The Captive by Fiona King Foster is the one I read. there are a lot of books with characters on the run I used them in other categories.
Out of the Storm by BJ Daniels Just finished and the male lead is running from several things yet it’s an amazing love story and has a heart tugging Happy Ending!
Liz wrote: "The Last Flight was a thrilling page-turner!"
I agree! I enjoyed this book. It would also fit into the multiple POV category.

Completion Post:Just finished reading: "Escape from the Land of Snows: The Young Dalai Lama's Harrowing Flight to Freedom and the Making of a Spiritual Hero" written by Stephan Talty (★★★★☆), it is a biography of Tenzin Gyatso, the fourteenth Dalai Lama, and his amazing escape from Tibet to India against the forces of China.
Talty has collected eye-witness accounts from the Dalai Lama's mother and brothers, rebels and refugees, members of the CIA's Tibetan Task Force, and former prisoners of the Chinese and cumulate them in a wonderful account that describes the Dalai Lama’s escape in 1959, which irrevocably altered the future of Tibet.
The Girl She Used to Be- David Cristofano Fictional story of a young woman who’s spent most of her life in the Witness Protection Program, running from the mob, her past, and ultimately herself.
I am reading an old book published decades ago - Uncommon Danger by Eric Ambler, in which a journalist is on the run after becoming caught up in a murder and the theft of political information.
I used a more figurative "on the run". As the MC was avoiding things at home when she decided to do an art grant at the South Pole. Interesting read with various themes entwined in the story
South Pole Station by Ashley Shelbyhttps://titlesurfingwithtraci.blogspo...

Eight Perfect Murders by Peter SwansonI don’t want to spoil the ending but there is a character on the run!
I read The Book Thief by Markus Zusakand it was a GREAT READ 📖 A Jew during WW II is running from the Nazi's
The Last Thing He Told Me by Laura Dave. The book opens with the main character finding out that her husband has run off. The rest of the book is about her and her stepdaughter finding out who he really is and why he ran.
I used Jonathan van ness’s memoir over the top for this..he was constantly moving, running away from life
Just finished Sandra Brown's The Witness. Not going to spoil the story, but it is clear from the beginning that MC is on the run.
