Read to me in 2002 in my grade 2 class. From what I remember, the leaf doesn't fall the first autumn because he's afraid of falling and then feels lonely for the coming year, so the second autumn he is happy to fall down. I feel like near the end the other leaves called him a grandpa leaf or something along those lines.

It wasn't that one!! The one I read had the leaves have faces and since it was grade 2, it was not as long as The Fall of Freddie the Leaf. Any other suggestions? Please!
