6 -- A Character With The Same Name As A Male Family Member

I read “We Could Be Heroes” by Mike Chen for my son’s name, Jamie. I could have read one of the later books from the Outlander series (Diana Gabaldon), which is where his name can from originally, 25years ago, but it’s been a LONG time since I read the last one. I chose his name because the other male names in my family seemed like they would be fairly hard to find: Morris (my husband), Devon (my other son), and Leonard (my father). If anyone has suggestions for any of THOSE names I could use the “repeat a prompt” prompt for that!
Sunflower Sisters by Martha Hall Kelly (a civil war story) has a character named Leonard. It is also a very good book. I gave it 5 stars. It published on March 30, 2021.
I read Me and Earl and the Dying Girl. Greg and Earl. It wasn’t my favorite book as I’m not a fan of the teen boy crass jokes but it did have some redeeming bits. It also fits the prompt for coming of age as well.
This was a hard one for me but randomly came across a book that would work - Your Heart Is a Muscle the Size of a Fist by Sunil YapaCharles
Victor
Bishop
John Henry
Timothy
I read Claws for Alarm by Karen MacInerney. Has a character named John. I have an uncle and a cousin named John.
