Joan Barnett | 1972 comments Well I think I'm going to do DREAMING OF SNOW. It's the shortest one and also seems to have more options with letters.

D - Don't You Cry
R - Room
E - The End of Oz
A - All Is Not Forgotten
M - Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel
I - I Let You Go
N - Dear Martin by Nic Stone
G - Girl, Interrupted

O - Vanishing Girls by Lauren Oliver
F - Yellow Brick War - Fantasy

S - Shiny Broken Pieces
N - Everything I Never Told You by Celeste Ng
O - The 100
W - Mooncakes by Suzanne Walker

14/14

Joan Barnett | 1972 comments I'm behind in the Winter Challenge. It will be interesting to see if I can complete it. I'm reading a couple of shorter books to try and get this challenge done. I should complete Girl, Interrupted today and then I'm going to read Dear Martin which is shorter and looks like a quick interesting read.

A Promised Land I'm planning on listening to on audio but I haven't been in the mood lately. I listen in my car and I've been jamming out to music instead lately. And the book is a lot of audio hours. I'm guessing if I start it this week I'll be able to get it done for the winter challenge. We will see. The other books are thrillers and young adult books which usually go quicker for me.

Joan Barnett | 1972 comments Completed Dear Martin. Planning on reading Don't You Cry next. Hoping I can roll through the rest of these books to complete the challenge.

Joan Barnett | 1972 comments Completed Don't You Cry. I'm thinking I'm going to read The End of Oz next. I'm planning on reading in order the books that are left to read. Except for W because I think I decided that I'm going to read a graphic novel for that. The author's last name starts with W. That will help me complete the winter challenge faster. I've had it out from the library for awhile.

Joan Barnett | 1972 comments I read The End of Oz and I Let You Go. I also read All Is Not Forgotten. I have 4 more books to read. One is going to be a graphic novel so that should be no problem. Another one is an audio and I have two weekends to read 2 physical books so I should be able to complete the challenge.

Joan Barnett | 1972 comments Two whole weekends left. I should be able to get this done. The only thing that concerns me is Obama's book. I listen to it in the car and with the ice storm I have not been able to listen to is as much. But worse comes to worse I can always listen at home. Going to start Mooncakes now.

Joan Barnett | 1972 comments Completed Mooncakes for the winter challenge. It was a graphic book and over 200 pages long. It was a fun read. A little diversion from the normal. Wasn't my favorite graphic novel ever but it was ok.

Joan Barnett | 1972 comments I completed the winter challenge and I'm so glad I did. I haven't completed a challenge in a little bit!
