Mary Haynes | 2 comments I read this book as a kid, between 2000-2007. It was a large square-shaped book with a variety of fairytales and (probably) original stories - probably around 15-25 stories in all. Each chapter began with a pocket watch with the number of minutes it would take to read that story (I think the numbers were 3, 5, and 7). One of the first ones was about a worm that became a glow worm after eating a wizard's wand on accident because it looked like a star-shaped cookie. One of the later stories was about a wizard going to a party and at the bottom of his party invitation it read, "Bring a banana and don't be late." Fairytales including Billy Goats Gruff and The Tinderbox. This book had lots of colorful little illustrations on each page.

Msry, I added a few details to the header/topic title at the top of the page, so your book might be recognized from that description alone. Many members only read the headers.

You can update it by clicking the small "edit" link after the header. This only works on the full Desktop website - not the Mobile website or app. (On the Mobile website, click the "Desktop version" link at the bottom of the page.)
