Date 8 - Tasks: Breakdown of the qualifications for possible tasks for Date 8.Please remember that all tags/lists must qualify IN CONTEXT!! Links MUST be provided.
Don't make more work for yourself than necessary - if the qualifier is in the title or on the cover, use it! You don't have to go searching for tags to make it work. 😊 If the link you use for the book is the same you are using for the page count and edition - say so (see above edition or something similar)! That saves us all some steps. But please double check your links!
You may use separate editions of your Scavenger Hunt books to qualify for the different tasks. Links MUST be provided.
R is for Rah-Rah - Read a sports romance.
To qualify, your book needs to be a sports romance. This can be evident in the precis, title, series, tags or lists. The qualification can be generic such as 'sports' and 'sports romance' or it can be specific such as 'football', 'hockey' 'baseball' and 'quarterback'. Remember, you need to let me know how you know the book qualifies - simply saying 'hero is an athlete' is NOT enough!
R is for Razor - Read a book with a clean-shaven model on the cover.
To qualify, the cover of the selected book needs to show a clean-shaven ADULT MALE model on the cover. There can be no facial hair - no beard, no mustache, no obvious scruff or 5 o'clock shadow. The cover does not need to show the entire head of the male model, but it has to show from the nose down at a minimum, basically the area that would have facial hair. You can use any edition of the book to qualify for this task.
R is for Rift - Read a second chance romance.
To qualify for this task, the title, series title, precis, tags or lists need to indicate that the book is second chance romance. Again, remember you need to let me know how you know the book qualifies - stating 'book is a second chance romance' will not qualify your book!
R is for Rome - Read a book set in a European country.
To qualify, the selected book needs to be set in a European country. For this task, the book's setting needs to be included on this list List of States/Territories of Europe. You can use the setting from the book details on the main book page, precis, title, tags or lists.
Finding lots more chests and abs (than faces) in sport romances hahaha!!

R is for Rift - Read a second chance romanceFor me is something unclear this tag, the second chance is for
1. Hero and Heroine was a couple, they separate for some reason and have a second chance
Or
2. the hero/heroine was in a worst relation (with someone else), or something bad happened and they have a second chance (to love someone) with heroine/hero

It is the first example. The couple has been separated for some reason and then rekindle the romance.

This week, I will not be correcting any completion posts, but will be checking the threads. In the Scavenger Hunt thread, I will only be listing the claims that are complete. The first complete post for any book will claim it. If the book doesn't qualify, I will still comment stating so. Follow the dots here - if the book is listed, all is good. If the book isn't listed, but I didn't comment, something is wrong/missing in your completion post - and the book can be claimed by another participant.
I will only be answering questions in the Q&A or Scavenger Hunt threads! If you want a quicker response, post in the Q&A thread.

Re-book 4: Radiance. The book is FANTASTIC, an amazing romance and one I totally recommend - I'm planning to re-read it soon so I can finish the series. (See below my review just in case you want to take a look. :)

This is an audio only book. In the Q&A, I have addressed this:
Q: Is there a way to use books that are available in audiobook format only? No paper or ebook options for page count.
A: It is difficult to even estimate a page count based on the length of an audiobook because they vary so widely. But rather than disallowing audio only books altogether, because a minimum page count is required for this challenge, I have come up with a compromise.
If an audio only book is 6 hours or longer, it will count as a book towards your and your team's books, but it will not have a page count associated with it. So audio only books will not add towards the Page Turner Rose or be in consideration for the Longest Date Rose. This applies to AUDIO ONLY books, if the book has a page count that must be used!
So what I am seeing is that the book is just over 7 hours, so it does work and will add to the book total, but not the page total.
