Ok. So I am on page 66 and I am really enjoying this book so far. I can see where people compare this to City of Bones but this is better in my opinion!

Also since this is a King Arthurian retelling I wonder how much of the legends you have to know to understand some of this stuff. I'm not far into it but I'm sure things will be shown and I am here for it.

Has anybody started it or read it yet?

I recently started the book and I'm currently on page 52. And yes I can see the comparison and agree I feel this one is already better!

It's interesting so far! I wasn't expecting her to witness magic and the secret society so early on in the book. I'm curious to learn more about it.

I know of King Arthurian retellings from the BBC show called Merlin. I loved the tv show and can't wait to see how this book will show the legends.

You definitely dont need to know Arthurian Legends to know some of the stuff but its pretty nice seeing the connections!

And omg yes Merlin!!! Ahahaha every time they mentioned Merlin and Arthur, I'd just think of those two from the show😂

Ikr! But I'm glad it didn't take long because it will be interesting to see how her school life and her Legendborn life intertwine!

I just finished chapter 10 and decided to stop here for tonight.
We're starting to learn more about their world and I'm curious to see how the trials will go.
