When you click the 'add book/author' button, at the bottom of the pop up it lets you choose between adding it as a link or a cover

Oh, wow ... How called out by that book title do I feel? Hee!
I'll probably read 'The Silent Patient' for this prompt (I ticked off 'the do-overs and fresh starts' prompt with Mort).
I highly recommend Baby Teeth
. Some reviews think it's over the top, but they clearly have never worked inpatient pediatric psych. Don't listen to them. Read it.
I read Blood Heir by Ilona Andrews. It has a post-apocalyptic scene going on in the background with broken/dilapidated buildings. Is it a stretch? Maybe lol. but I'm always stretching it anyway.
What do you think about Kent State by Deborah Wiles? There are bullet holes and the flower petals are falling off... Or is that too much of a stretch?Kent State
Just finished reading Ayelet Waldman's first book in her Mommy-Track Mystery series, Nursery Crimes and enjoyed it. I has a broken vehicle on the cover!
Megan wrote: "What do you think about Kent State by Deborah Wiles? There are bullet holes and the flower petals are falling off... I just finished A Woman Is No Man(broken wall) and it was very thought provoking. Actually, it could be used for several of the prompts this year. Highly recommend this one. I listened to the audio version and their voices added to the experience.
I am reading Mistborn - The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson for this one. Almost half way through and loving it!! Mistborn: The Final Empire
Little Fires Everywhere was absolutely lovely, I feel like the burning paper counts - and there's a certain theme of 'broken', too.
I counted this:
That skull is definitely broken.
And if you're doing GenreLand, John Creasey definitely counts as a prolific author.
Jessica wrote: "I have stretched this a bit...I read Something in the Water which has a wave breaking on the cover.
"sneaky! i love it!
Just finished this. 4 stars. I didn't think I would like it when I started, I'm glad that I stuck with it.
Shannon wrote: "The Big Over Easy by Jasper Fforde has a broken Humpty Dumpty on the back cover!
"I thought of that!! We'll both read it.
Stayed up late finishing This Old Homicide by Kate Carlisle for this one — a good mystery and a broken fence on the cover.
I read The Break by Marian Keyes. The B in 'Break' is broken, and of course the title is relevant. It's the story of a marriage on the verge of breaking up.
Britany wrote: "is this too much of a stretch?? Broken Wave?
"Nah, I used a different book with a wave breaking as well.
I'm reading Up from Slavery. I couldn't find the exact book cover on Goodreads, but my book has a cover with chains breaking.
I'm going to select Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty, The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt, Sweetbitter by Stephanie Danler, and Oona Out of Order by Margarita Montimore.
I read Three Act Tragedy by Agatha Christie. This was a good Poirot book. It's not one of the best, but still interesting and fun to read. The martini on the cover has spilled. I decided a spilled drink is close enough to something broken to count for the prompt.
