you don't need to know sheet music for that.

So like say a C major chord has C E and G as its notes so on the guitar you have to form the chord so that no other notes except C E or G is playing

I totally understand that. a lot of times, I'll stay up until 1:30am or 2am by watching tv, and it's so weird.
