I'M SO MAD. AND SAD. My best friend is obssessed with KPOP, specifically BTS. When her parents got to know about her obsession, this was what they said to her.
"South Korea is a country full of homosexuality."
"These guys (BTS) are fake people."
"They probably got popular with the help of their money."
And some other racist stuff towarda South Koreans which I don't even want to state.
I'd never really liked her parents, because of how much they stress over her studies. They want her to be at the top of the grade and are always yelling at her to get good grades
Now I hate them more than ever. They're homophobic and racist.
WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THIS WORLD. WHY CAN'T PEOPLE JUST ACCEPT EVERYONE THE WAY THEY ARE?
Why do they have to speak so disrespectfully about something she likes? I'm crying. JUST WHY?

Our teacher asked us to write a short story so I wrote kotlc fanfic. Here it is.
The last year had been chaotic for Sophie. She'd found out that she was an elf. That explained why she had abilities such as telepathy. She'd also found a new family. Grady and Edaline, her foster parents and all her friends at her magical school, Foxfire.But what she still didn't have were answers to questions such as: who were her real parents? Why had they abandoned her? Such questions kept Sophie awake most nights. And today was one of those nights.
She was lying on her bed, thinking about everything that had happened over the last year when suddenly she heard murmurs outside her window. She gasped as she realized that she knew one of the them. It was the man who'd kidnapped her and her friend Dex, and possibly the one who'd started Everblaze- the unstoppable flame. She knew she had to go to Alden this moment. She put on her nexus and leapt to the Vacker's mansion.
Just as she reached there, she darted inside the house and ran into Fitz. "Ouch-" said Fitz.
"What are you doing here?" asked Fitz?
"Please, Fitz, this is important. I need to see Alden." said Sophie frantically.
What is it Sophie?" asked Fitz anxiously.
"Remember the man who'd kidnapped me and Dex? I saw him in our backyard at Havenfield." she said.
"Are you sure?" Fitz asked her. "You didn't hit your head or something, did you?
"FITZ!" shouted Sophie.
"Okay, sorry, but Dad is not here. He's away working for the council."
"Then there's no other way, we'll have to follow them." said Sophie.
"Sophie, are you crazy? We can't do that. W'ell get into a lot of trouble." said Fitz pleadingly.
"You know I'm gonna go, whether you come or not." said Sophie defiantly.

They’d been following those two people for hours and apparently now, they’d finally reached their destination. It was a forest, similar to the one Sophie had been seeing in her nightmares lately.
Those two people- a man and a woman- were talking to other man. On looking closer Sophie saw that the third man had the same blonde hair and brown eyes as her.
“No! It couldn’t be…” Sophie said breathlessly.
“What?” Fitz asked.
“Never mind.” She said and started walking away only to trip on a stone and fall.
Everyone’s gazes suddenly fell on Sophie. A wave of recognition crossed the 3rd man’s face and in that moment she knew that he was her father.
The kidnapper noticed this and caused a shield like bubble to appear around Sophie’s father.
“SOPHIE!” her father cried out but his voice was muffled by the cage- like bubble he was trapped in.
The kidnapper turned towards them.
“Sophie Foster, what brings you here? Surely you didn’t come to save the father who abandoned you.”
“How-" Sophie began.
“Because, I was the one who’d controlled your father all these years. Explain.” He gestured towards the woman.
“Master needed a powerful inflictor to start the Everblaze. The only known inflictor was your father. So Master put a jinx on him. He wouldn’t remember anything of his past unless something triggered it. And you are the one who triggered his memory.” She said.
“Indeed.” The Kidnapper said. “And now you shall face my wrath.”
The man held up his hands as if to summon something. And there it was… the Everblaze. Sophie was in such a daze that she would’ve died then and there, if not for Fitz. Fitz tried to counter the Everblaze with a powerful spell. But even the spell was no match to the Everblaze. If Sophie didn’t do something, the Everblaze would swallow him.
Impulsively she fired a spell on the woman, in hope of distracting the Kidnapper.
“Fitz! go try to summon Alden!”
Fitz nodded.
“It’s just you and me now, Foster. No Vacker to save you this time.” The Kidnapper snarled.
Sophie summoned all her power trying to deflect the Everblaze. She heard a voice and let herself be distracted. Then the world went black.

Sophie opened her eyes and tried to sit up.
“Easy there, Foster.” Said a familiar voice.“You need all the rest you can get.”
Sophie looked up. It was Alden. Fitz stood beside him.
“Alden! What happened there? Is that man gone?”
“I’m afraid not. When I came, he got distracted too. And hence, the Everblaze backfired on him, but not with as much force. He fled away. And from what I know of him, he’ll come back. But you needn’t worry yourself with this. You shouldn’t have gone after him in the first place.
“I know but-"
Sophie saw someone in the doorway. It was her father. She ran towards him and hugged him. “Dad?” she said uncertainly.
“Yes, indeed.” He smiled and hugged her back. And in that moment all her worries melted away. For it isn’t everyday that you’re united with your long lost father.
This is my first time writing fanfic so it's probably not that good.
But we were supposed to write a 150 words story.And this is 830 words. Oops.
I just saw that our teacher sent us a message that we have a test tomorrow. And she sent the message at 10 pm. But I don't mind. It's just a chapter from The Diary of a Young Girl and is actually kinda interesting as compared to most of our other stories in English.

I haven't read the whole book either, but I really want to.
We don't have any novel.
We have two books. One contains only stories and the other one has both stories and poems.
And ofc the grammar books, which just sit there, hoping that they'll be used someday.

Lol yeah. Even at the end of semester, they are always looking as good as new. I usually pass them on to my cousin who's 2 yrs younger than me.

Someone or the other usually asks me to give them last year's books, so I usually pass on the books to whoever asks for them.
I'm on a quest to find a book to suit my current mood. AGAIN.

It could've easily been a torture. Except our teacher was really good at explaining and was very passionate about it. He somehow managed to make it interesting
