The Selection is an amazing book series! Especially the first 3! America is a bit annoying, but only because you get very mad at her for not choosing Maxon! And that just proves how good the relationships are and how much you'll be shipping these characters!

I read the whole series because everyone at school was talking about it. I ended it being disappointed with YA, and didn't touch any YA books for awhile. I found some scenes disturbingly misogynistic and the heroine is super annoying. I was actually planning to write a long rant about it but as I type it now, I realise that I forgot most part of it. I can only remember how annoyed I was with this series..

I just found It to be a mix between hunger games and the bachelor, but not in the way that it created something new or different. It was like the plot of hunger games in a bachelor setting. Not that that's bad, but it was basically hunger games:bachelor version.

I liked the series but who ever told me that America was the best character should go die. that dumb bish ruined the whole plot. my favorite would be Marlee. I was in tears when I saw the picture of her in Happily Ever After. Maxon does not deserve her but should not get Kriss. kriss just gave me bad vibes, she was too perfect. 100% would stab
