If anyone likes cozy mysteries, the Bewitched by Chocolate series by H.Y. Hanna features three generations - the main character (and her cousin), her aunt and her grandmother. The first book is Dark, Witch & Creamy. I read the sixth book for this prompt - it's a cute series!

I just read Good in Bed for this prompt! It was a really nice light and comical read while also touching on some very real issues of emotional abuse, weight expectations, relationships and big decisions. If you want something easy and light definitely give it a shot!
I waa thinking of Wisteria Witches
It does not have a grandparent, parent and child sequence but great aunt (MC's mother's sister), parent ( MC) and child. And they are referred to as three generations of Riddle witches in the book (Riddle being their last names). Will it be a bit of a stretch to consider this one fit for the prompt? Considering how there isn't really a grandparent but instead her sister?

I believe the sequence listed in the prompt was merely an example. The book I used, like your choice, had great aunt—parent—child.
Is there a way to remove a book from a listopia? Just read You Should See Me in Crown and I don’t think it features 3 generations...for anyone who read it, do you agree it doesn’t count? I am annoyed to read a book that doesn’t meet an expected prompt since reading 50 books is hard enough! I need all to count towards the challenge :)
Just finished And Every Morning the Way Home Gets Longer and LongerIt includes a grandfather, a father and a son.
My upcoming (August 24!) book, On Home, is perfect for this if anyone wants to support another Pop Sugar Challengee!
Does mentioning all 3 generations count, or do all have to be alive. For example, a grandson and grandparent, and flashback to the son (grandson's father) dying.

I would like to read a novel about family secrets. Something in the style of Kate Morton. Does anyone have a recommendation by any chance?
I read A Song for the Dark Times by Ian Rankin. It is the latest in the Rebus series, which I thought was getting a bit 'samey', but this is a bit different, as a disappearance focuses Rebus' attention on his daughter and grand-daughter.
Chronicling three generations of an island family from 1916 to the 1970s, Land of Love and Drowning is a novel of love and magic, set against the emergence of Saint Thomas into the modern world.
Black Water Sister fits 3 generations perfectly - grandmother, daughter, and granddaughter are all central characters. Fun read with great atmosphere and setting. quick, highly enjoyable. I gave it 3.5 star review. Some of the plotting is a little chunky but really good. My entire Feminerdy Book Club liked it.
I read Essex County, Vol. 3: The Country Nurse for this prompt. The previous book volumes mentioned detailed accounts about all three generations joining all the threads in the last one.
