It is! I wasn't paying much attention and I set it up under the 2021 quick links thread, thinking, that's a weird title for the annual challenge. Yeah, I guess it works... sort of... kind of. But okay.

Finishing up my Huntress series since I didn’t finish it last month by reading Shadow Moon.

I just finished Lost Souls which is part of the New Orleans series. I was able to use it for the Museum Challenge. I have 3 more in the series to finish.

Dom and I are starting Crown of Oblivion. I got this new autographed, hardback book from my university store for fifty cents. You read that right! I bought one for Dom too and sent it to her.

Two books left in the New Orleans series. Finishing the J.J. Graves series today.

One more book for the Dublin Squad series which will be finished next month. One more book for the Endgame series which hopefully will be this month. These are reads with Dominique.

Finished Playing Dirty which was the last book in the J.J. Graves series until May. How quickly these series can get out of hand. I had finished the series early last year and then two more came out!

Hey - how are you two doing? I haven't seen any posts for a while. What series are you two reading now?

I think the last I saw from you in my thread was about the Dublin Murder Squad that you did not care too much for the last couple of books. It will be a while before I get to the next one. I have been trying to clear out some of the oldest ebooks on my tablet and unfortunately, many of them are first in series books that I bought on a book sale. Some of them have been great though, and it is a shame that it has taken me so long to get to them. Just too many books and not enough hours in the day to work and read and get everything else done, even if there is no life outside of the house. The weeds and grass out in my yard are growing faster than I can imagine keeping up with them. The spring rain is allowing them to grow and keeping me from wanting to go outside and hack at them.

I am doing well. Dom is as well. I haven’t been reading much. I don’t like being on a screen since I work remotely and stare at a computer screen all day. I have been watching more TV and reading some paperbacks. I also have been playing some games.

I just finished Win which was first in a series. I’m reading Rules of the Game right now. This is the last in another series that Dom and I have been reading. We started Clockwork Prince which was another series we started and we both disliked it and abandoned that series.

I also have been working a little later so I don’t have much time to read and we are getting a puppy today so that will likely take some of my time too.

Sounds like you are adding to your series and not killing them. :)

We gave up on Rules of the Game. It wasn’t great. I got 20% in and said forget it. So, two trilogies we have abandoned this year.

I am glad you are doing okay.
Yes, I have been adding more and killing less, but all for trying to complete museum tasks and get books off of my ‘owned books’ list. It all evens out at some point, I hope.

I have the Clockwork Prince as next up on that series list, but it will be a library pick in the future. I liked the first book but there are a lot of inter-related series from that same author that I may never get to.

I still have plenty of orphan books to finish up too. I’m trying to read more of my printed books too and they are slower going.

Whew, 6 months later and I finally finished Shadow Moon. It wasn’t a great read. It was incredibly slow to get into it. It was like the last few chapters had all of the action. I can now say the series is dead!

Plans got derailed this year. I got a new puppy, new job and took a class after work. There just wasn’t time for reading. Hoping for better luck next year.
