Heather McC (heather-mcc) | 78 comments Asking on behalf of a library patron: Spoilers below based on info provided:

'It is a children's book. The pictures are all photos of pictures made entirely out of fabric/material. It is about a little animal that I am fairly confident is a pig (85% sure on that). It is a girl and she goes to the library and realizes at the group read that she forgot to wear her underwear, the look on her little face is one of pure shock. She takes a wagon with her to the library. I think there is a scene where she goes to the park and plays on the swings. I loved the illustrator/artist method and the story was funny.'

I will update the post as we receive more information from our patron on the matter.

Thanks for your consideration!

Heather, is this a picture book or children's chapter book/novel?

Around what year did your patron read this book? A range of years is fine.

I added some details to the header/topic title at the top of the page, so your book might be recognized from that description alone. Many members only read the headers.

You can update it by clicking the small "edit" link after the header. This only works on the full Desktop website - not the Mobile website or app. (On the Mobile website, click the "Desktop version" link at the bottom of the page.)

Heather McC (heather-mcc) | 78 comments Hi Kris,

I am inclined to say 'children's picture book', though I am not the initial contact person with the patron. I will definitely add more information as we get it, and will relay questions.

Thanks for considering!

I am "the patron". It is a picture book, not a chapter book. I checked it out sometime between 2008 and 2018. I tried to edit the title/header and cannot find the "edit" button. It is not about a little girl, just the pig as an anthropomorphic girl. Thank you so much for all your help.

Stacy | 3 comments It might be by a "non-American" author, but not sure.

YES! That is it. Thank you so much. It is nice to have the little niggling voice in my head satiated. THANK YOU.

Heather, since you're the original poster, can you confirm the book mentioned by Stacy so we can close this request?

Heather McC (heather-mcc) | 78 comments Of course, it is 'Mimi' by Carol Baicker-McKee (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...)
