Ushashi (ushashib) | 428 comments I set my goal at 20 books in 2020 and managed to read over 30, but pandemic lockdown had a lot to do with it. I am setting 30 as my goal for 2021 too, which is quite high. But how will it be a challenge if it's too easy for me!!

Edit: I had a blast at reading in the first quarter. So I have decided to increase my goal from 30 to 40 books for the year (for now).

Trisha (trishabisen) | 2389 comments Hey Ushashi, I agree with you. If not for the COVID-19 crisis, there would have been no working from home and cancelled trips, and definitely lesser time for books! I hope the situation gets better in 2021 but having said that, I still hope that we’ll be able to maintain our progress. Good luck with your goal! :)

Yeah I am mixing reading and listening. I prefer reading, but audiobooks are tremendous in time management 😁.

Trisha (trishabisen) | 2389 comments Ladies, I applied for a library card in April 2020 and it's yet to be generated. The support folks don't help, I guess I just have to wait and pay for books until I get my card.

message 20: by Ushashi (new)

Ushashi (ushashib) | 428 comments I am not even a member of any library. I keep spending on books. But I love doing that.
Btw, Librivox is a good place for free audiobooks if you like classics.
