My Dearest Enemy by Connie Brockway (Start Date : February 23 , 2015)
This looks very interesting, I'll try to join if it's possible - I've never even hear of this author, but I see that the majority of my friends on goodreads have either read and rated the book highly or want to read this. I'm intrigued :)
I can't do the first set of DQs, ShoSho. I'll start, but it will probably really be on my 23rd. The POD people are coming on my 22nd.
There are all alphabetized, but the boxes are all stacked out of order. I'm trying to weed through them and give away the books I don't want on my "keeper" shelf. However, it is like cutting off an arm to give away a book. LOL!

Lol!
Gisela wrote: "I know the feeling! You keep thinking: "But what if I want to read it again?""Exactly! Even the ones I couldn't get into, I think, "What if my mood changes and I want to read this one?" LOL!
Oh you 2 need my husband!!A typical conversation between us :
Me:"Whrer is my X ?"(shoes, books ,bowl , ...)
hubby:"You hadn't used it in a while so I gave it to salvation army " Or " It was old ,I put in the bin "!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My husband knows better than to touch my books! He'd have WW III on his hands if he did! I culled my collection when we got married because we didn't have space, so I've been buying mostly ebooks since then. He knows the ones I keep are precious!

Well he would certainly have a field day in LK's attic!
Lisa Kay wrote: "Can you send him here to weed through my crap? LOL!"Gladly ! If he can bring back some goodies for me!!!
Gisela wrote: "Well he would certainly have a field day in LK's attic!"He would!! I haven't been up there in years.
ShoSho wrote: "Gladly ! If he can bring back some goodies for me!!!"Sure. I think I'm going to bake some almond cookies next.
Does he like electrical/technical doo-dads? Because my husband's stuff is up there, too. Tons and tons of good stuff.

I'm at 12% , it hasn't grabbed me yet! Of course I'm also reading
which is great and the only reason I'm not reading that one is that it's a hardcover and I can't carry it around with me to work and my doctor and dentist appointments today!
I'm at 15% and I'm so enjoying the letters back and forth. I nearly cried when I read his letter about Karl.

Here is my problem ,I've been dealing with so many a*holes in RL lately , I can't stand reading about them in books too ! I hope there aren't too many of those in this book!

There may be a few, but the MC seems okay, or at least trainable. Sorry about the RL ones, I hope they go away.
Sorry about the a**holes, ShoSho. It sure makes me wish marijuana was legal; I wouldn't smoke it, but I sure would pass out a lot of joints to those who need to mellow out.

Nope. Just woke up. I was watching a marathon showing of Entourage. Let me see if I can find my "B" box of books.
I'm going to put this on the back burner for a few days! Nalini Singh herself sent me an ARC of
, I just have to read that :D

Connie Brockway’s novel of unexpected love begins with a series of letters between a world-weary adventurer and the beautiful suffragette whose passion calls him home.
“Dear Mr. Thorne, For the next five years, I will profitably manage this estate. I will deliver to you an allowance and I will prove that women are just as capable as men.” Lillian Bede is shocked when she is tapped to run the affairs of an exquisite country manor. But she accepts the challenge, taking the opportunity to put her politics into practice. There’s only one snag: Lily’s ward, the infuriating, incorrigible globe-trotter Avery Thorne.
“My Dear Miss Bede, Forgive me if I fail to shudder. Pray, do whatever you bloody well want, can, or must.” Avery’s inheritance is on hiatus after his uncle dies—and his childhood home is in the hands of some domineering usurper. But when he finally returns, Avery finds that his antagonist is not at all what he expected. In fact, Lily Bede is stunning, exotic, provocative—and impossible to resist.
