I'm pretty sure the main character is a irl. She gets home from a trip and the airport is empty. She goes to a store and it is empty too. Her family is gone and she has a cat. She finds a girl in a cabin in the woods and helps her deliver her baby. There are a couple pictures in the book as well.

I guess the genre would be YA fiction. It was kind of like an apocalyptic setting. I read the book in middle school so between 2010-2013.

I think maybe like high school age.

Were there other people around besides the MC and the pregnant girl in the cabin?

I can’t remember, i think they might have been named, but weren’t really part of the story. There might have been like a story owner or something but that’s about it.
