so i don’t have any recommendations right now but i was wondering if any of you know some good christmas or wintery books. it can be any genre i just want to read a book that feels like the holiday season🎄.
actually i lied i do have one recommendation. i’m rereading Dash and Lily’s Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan in honour of the netflix adaptation coming out (ahhh i can’t begin to describe how happy that makes me). anyways the book has a really cool concept and feels super christmassy, i’d definitely recommend checking it out, but i don’t know what to read when i’m done and google has been of very little aid because it spews out a million books and i don’t know which ones to pick. so yeah drop any chirstmas / winter feeling books you liked in this thread :)
also also i really want to get into more classics but i don’t know where to start! if there are any you enjoyed or you think might be a little easier to get into, even if it was just a book you read in school and you thought it was neat, let me know! i’m reading The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde and i’m enjoying it quite a bit, and i also really like Edgar Allen Poe’s short stories, so i guess i like classic books with a darker or witty tone, but like i said any classics you enjoyed please comment them here and i’ll totally check them out :)
