It's fun to see everyone get so excited when they get their pets :)"
I'm STILL working on my horse! 3 books to go haha!

I will admit that at first I wasn't sure the best strategy. After taking some time off and coming back, now I can see how other people worked toward defeating the larger beasties and it helps me know what I should be prioritizing. It's really helpful!

There's no XP for the kitchen. You just get your kitchen :P

This was the all player event. However, next time we'll do it without the sick animals.

Zuzana's the expert with the numbers, and has calculated that the kitchen & recipes (so far) aren't book-efficient. The shop (via midas quests) is a better source of potions for health. Rabbit is a good pet to get.

The Midas quests and Woollymark are listed in the Notice Board.
The Classifieds are listed in Jack and Jill Caravan Hill (store)
See this link: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group...
Fulfilling any of the above quests, earns you gold which you can spend in the store and once a month, in the last week of the month in Jack and Jills's open market where people offer up books and items for sale

Concentrate on getting your staff level up as high as possible. The ideal is to use one stroke to kill rats, goblins and bats guaranteeing steady experience points every week -- at no cost to your Hero's Health Points.
For extra combat strength aim for HORSE (+1) and PUPPY + COMBAT(+1)
For extra Health Recovery, aim for RABBIT (+3) and HOUSE +BED (+1)
After Level 8 you can only attack Greater rats which net you rat tails for SHEETS 1-3 HP. All deliver points on Sundays.

Beginning Tracking provides your puppy with the ability to find minor hidden monsters.

It requires you to be able to track monsters.

So I guess you need PUPPY + BEGINNER TRACKING to attack it.

I'm ok with using one on each weapon. That's not stacking them in my opinion since it's still just one on each weapon. (You can't use two on the same weapon to get a +6)
Yes, you can use it for the monsters.
Sloth - This one averages so if you have it on both then it'd add +3 to your averaged score.
Envy - I count this as potion based damage so it would count as an additive.
Pride - I think it's ok to treat this as an add-on when it's on the higher weapon since if your sword is normally 10 and you boost to 13, if you subtract your staff at 7 you end up with 6 whether you do it before or after.

So I guess you need PUPPY + BEGINNER TRACKING to attack it."
There will be some other hidden things that will be useful to have the puppy for. And maybe another way to be able to track them although I haven't seen anyone resistant to getting the puppy.

Sorry, got lost in the chatter. Hopefully you got the answer you wanted :)

Oh that I did for sure :)

I'll put it on the list for next month :)
Also, there may or may not be a mid month update since I have a birthday in a few weeks. *innocent look*

Reva this is so very helpful! Thank you!!

Thanks!"
One of each! My Sunday morning is incomplete without a killing of goblin, bat & bear!

Oh, how come I missed this post?! Thanks, Tea. Thanks, Kelly! And Happy Birthday! :)
Two new challenge extension cards. Very handy! :)

Feel free to ask as many questions as you like. Everyone here is very nice and happy to help
You're welcome to check any of our personal threads for how we did things, battles etc. We don't mind.

I think I'm one of the few who didn't mind the all player events :P Probably because I had only started in June and didn't have any pets yet. And I thought it was nice to see the players work together and there was more interaction.
Luckily the game is continuing on into next year. You've made my day hearing that!
And welcome new players :D

Have a quick question - if I use a Damage Potion, that increases the attack power for both Sword & Staff right?
And for the Blue Dragon, I can use 3 Minor Heal Potions at 1 turn for -15 to the Dragon (-5 each potion) right?
I don't have any pretty dragon pictures :( but I have defeated the first 1! I'm almost ready for the 2nd one (depending on the Damage Potions question), and reading for more potions so I can defeat the other 2.
Attack Green Dragon
(view spoiler)
Gains 30 Exp & Orb of Earth
❖❖ Level 7 Mod Hero - Level 6 Sword | Level 8 Staff | 21 HP | 190 Exp ❖❖

BTW Congrats on your dragon slaying!

Yay thank you Zuzana! The other 3 dragons will be toast before those potions wear out then. Say goodbye dragons haha! :D
