Also, how do you fight a low level monster? I'm close to leveling up and wouldn't me mind taking a shot at a minor one. Or should I wait to level my staff up

In case of doubt, check someone's else log. Also, remember to keep track of how many Uncommon Monsters you have killed (there's a max each player can kill) and cross out which Rare Monsters you took down.

You can use duplication potions to reuse a book. My staff loves duplication potion books!

I've done two, I think...but not walker + yet.
The 2nd, I just had enough HP & att that I didn't need to heal. My last attack was a spell to cure the zombicrosis (&kill it)

Rebecca, I think that you can fight zombies with Life spells. The trick is to use healing potions after you hit with the spell (in the moment you healed yourself from zombcrosis before the zombie bites you and infects you again).

Do you heal on your own over time?

Are you able to heal anyway other than potions, spells or leveling up?

You can heal through levelling, potions, quests and magic objects. You do not heal on your own
