Teresa (teresab78) | 1658 comments Ok, I'm going to post my battle in the next few hours! Anyone wanting small shots, if you take them now I can modify mine to finish him off.

Teresa (teresab78) | 1658 comments Can some one lend me a heal potion or one minor heal? If I can get that (or someone does 22+ damage to the dragon) I can kill him... nvm... I got some scrounger items!

message 8106: by Teresa (new)

Teresa (teresab78) | 1658 comments THE DRAGON EISDRAKE IS DEAD!!!

Zuzana | 2570 comments Great job everyone! :D

I really enjoyed this team event. It was a perfect blend of team effort and single player feel of the game. Everybody could participate regardless of level or weapon power if they wanted to and there wasno pressure to play if you wanted to keep to yourself. GREAT JOB, KELLY & TEA. THANKS, LADIES.

message 8112: by Teresa (new)

Teresa (teresab78) | 1658 comments I agree, Zuzana!!

message 8113: by Alyssa (new)

Alyssa Lane Yay it's dead!! Congrats everyone that is awesome. I poked it with a stick once so I can feel like I helped a teensy tiny bit xD really looking forward to what now comes next!

message 8114: by Teresa (new)

Teresa (teresab78) | 1658 comments I now am 300 XP away from level 13 but not quite ready to tackle some of the big monsters... I could have done the Plague Bringer if I had had the white gem activated but I'm 4 books away from that...

message 8115: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 2131 comments I started playing too late to really participate in slaying Eisdrake, but I was glad I got to use my toothpick just before the end.

Thank you guys for the warning - I'd been holding off waiting for another Staff upgrade so I could actually get a lonely 1 XP before dying. I'm glad I didn't miss the lovely Supply Package. :)

message 8116: by Alyssa (new)

Alyssa Lane I was holding off on a staff upgrade before another attack too but that's ok :) I hit him once so it counts- now I'll just have to go off and fight other monsters. Once my puppy learns to attack.. it's slow going but we're getting there haha

message 8117: by Rebecca (new)

Rebecca (rebeccasg) | 3798 comments I'm also holding off on a sword upgrade because ugh I can't commit to those super large books right now haha.

I'm working on activating the gems and also my puppy int attack instead of the sword.

message 8118: by Teresa (new)

Teresa (teresab78) | 1658 comments I found the sword not much use except in the dragon battles. Having a low sword is actually better for the hydras

message 8119: by Rebecca (new)

Rebecca (rebeccasg) | 3798 comments I wish I had started a staff instead, but it's too late for me now so I have to continue on.

message 8120: by Alyssa (new)

Alyssa Lane I've been looking for short YA/kids books or graphic novels series as long as they hit the 100 page minimum to use on my staff to help it along faster. :)

message 8121: by Mary (new)

Mary (wimew) | 397 comments good job on the dragon

message 8122: by Rebecca (new)

Rebecca (rebeccasg) | 3798 comments This is super random, but I never realized that the Jabberwocky was an Alice in Wonderland / Lewis Caroll reference. But now I'm reading Heartless by Marissa Meyers (about the queen of hearts) and I'm like OOOHHHH I get it now.

message 8123: by Alex (new)

Alex | 1018 comments Woohoo congrats on the Dragon slayage everyone!

message 8124: by Morgan (new)

Morgan (faeriesfolly) | 522 comments Good to see an end to the dragon! :) Excited to see if it was guarding any loot. haha. Very fun event -- loved all the different sections and every one at every level being able to work both solo and together.

Congrats all -- I wish I'd been able to help more near the end, but this job is eating all my time. Especially reading time. :P Now to apply myself to figuring out some of the other pesky critters that I haven't had a chance to slay yet. (Also catch up on reviews.)

I just read that one recently myself! Excited to see what you think.

message 8126: by Zuzana (new)

Zuzana | 2570 comments Looks like we are all getting a share in the dragon's loot. Can't wait to see what it contains. :-)

message 8127: by Beth (new)

Beth | 503 comments Finally completed "Quick! Lies!" Here's my story:

I set out to look for the Bellwether of my flock, which had run away into the forest, or maybe had been stolen, when I passed The Nutcracker and Mouse King in a clearing. They were fighting, and I got out of their way as quickly as I could. I walked a long way until I met The Thief of Always. He hadn't taken my bellwether, so I walked on until I met Hadji Murat, who told me to follow The Sparrow and I ended up here.

message 8128: by Cathy (new)

Cathy Galloway | 876 comments Cute little story Beth. Congrats on completing the challenge.

Cathy M. (mccathy77) | 5976 comments I have an egg up for grabs - good until Saturday for whoever wants/need it!

message 8132: by Alyssa (new)

Alyssa Lane Well since I took the last one I didn't wanna take this one too but since no one else is claiming it may I have it please? :)

message 8133: by Cathy M. (new)

Cathy M. (mccathy77) | 5976 comments Sure, have at it :)

message 8136: by Megs (new)

Megs (meganlikesbooks) | 376 comments I could use it Theresa, if no one else needs. Thanks.

message 8137: by Teresa (new)

Teresa (teresab78) | 1658 comments It's yours, Meg :)

message 8138: by Teresa (new)

Teresa (teresab78) | 1658 comments For the Search and Rescue dog, does it have to be a professional dog or can it be a pet who finds some one they are looking for?

❀Tea❀ (ttea) | 9625 comments Teresa wrote: "For the Search and Rescue dog, does it have to be a professional dog or can it be a pet who finds some one they are looking for?"

If I remember right, it has to be dog that was trained for it.

message 8140: by ❀Tea❀ (new)

❀Tea❀ (ttea) | 9625 comments I have an egg laid freshly today. It's good for rest of the week :)

message 8141: by Morgan (new)

Morgan (faeriesfolly) | 522 comments Yeah, I remember asking about it, or if werewolves doing search and rescue could work. But it had to be a dog specifically doing that. lol.

Actually found a cute romance (don't usually read a lot/like them) that had a dog trained for that -- I think Kelly rec'd it to me. Jill Shalvis was the author I think?

message 8142: by Morgan (last edited Apr 16, 2017 09:02AM) (new)

Morgan (faeriesfolly) | 522 comments Rescue My Heart <-- this is the one.

And it didn't matter that it was a #3. It stood alone well.

message 8143: by Teresa (new)

Teresa (teresab78) | 1658 comments Thanks, Megan!

message 8144: by Teresa (new)

Teresa (teresab78) | 1658 comments Ohh, my library has it on audio! Sweet :)

message 8145: by Rebecca (new)

Rebecca (rebeccasg) | 3798 comments For the slingshot and "books that start with Y" can we ignore words like A/The in front?

message 8146: by Alyssa (new)

Alyssa Lane Any idea when we'll be getting an update/whatever the ending of the Great White Dragon is? :)

message 8147: by Alyssa (new)

Alyssa Lane Rebecca I'm pretty sure ignoring A/An/The is a universal rule that applies to all quests.

message 8148: by Kelly (new)

Kelly (ladykatala) | 5020 comments Alyssa wrote: "Any idea when we'll be getting an update/whatever the ending of the Great White Dragon is? :)"
