I can't remember specific quest....maybe that was for the house?? lol. I also can't remember what I did for on a plain precisely, but there's the Little House books that would qualify. I read them for other things. For someone is framed, I'd say just about any romance and a lot of sci-fi/fantasy/paranormal.
Pretty sure I used one of Croak series. Probably Scorch or Rogue. YA paranormal with some humor....sorta like a reaper version of the camp/boarding school sort of situation.
For one on the plains, I really liked Walk on Earth a Stranger. It's a YA western with the slightest touch of fantasy. You could also go with something like little house on the prarie. I think some Anne of Green Gables books might also qualify, or nearly anything on a farm.

I think there are some mysteries or romantic suspense stories that would work but you'd have to do some digging.
There will be updates soon. Internet is broken at the house right now because they tried to fix the neighbor's internet (after it broke due to them being at our house) and they apparently can't imagine more than one person on a street using internet.....

They are so bad, so sorry you have to deal with that! Hopefully they can get that resolved quickly!! Last year my hubby & I tried to get our internet account (AT&T) and Directv accounts consolidated but the tech messed everything up. So we were without internet for 3 days. Those commercials about not having internet (ironically I believe they are AT&T commercials) are so spot on. It's like we can't function without it :P
I think this is the first update I've stalked for in a while. Hope it gets resolved soon Kelly!

I would love to decorate my house. Battles aren't really my thing, so I'm not quite as interested in the weapons quests, but I'd love to go dungeon crawling or visit a marketplace and find pretty trinkets to decorate my walls or rare books to sit on my shelves.

The internet is back.My boss unexpectedly announced her retirement last week so my world has been a bit nuts.
I'm working on the custom monsters.
I think I may try to push out smaller updates more often so it doesn't end up so backed up.
We're happy no matter when the updates come :) I can't speak for everyone but I've got loads to be working on (can you believe I STILL haven't got a bauble??)

OK what are the potion tokens that I got for starting after Jan 1 2016? and how do I redeem or use them? And Since it is December but the mods haven't change Jack's classified yet can I still fill the November classified?
Also spell out healing how much does it heal?
My name is Sir Roger, I am a new knight and am questing for the Robbing Robin Hood quest with the book I added I have a +3 staff and +2 sword. Also finished 2 book since I joined and am reading another 2 now. I have two series path for +4 staff and willing to help where I can.

Since this is single player you can mention it in that thread or just track it yourself. There's nothing official.
You can't still do November's. But just come here and harass me when I forget to change over to the new month and I'll go update them :)

So.... this really might not be a good question to ask and it may make me look dumb... But I want to try to get started, and looking through the welcome and rules page didn't answer this question for me: is there an actual game or are you writing it yourself as you go, is there a website? Where is it? Like I said I might look dumb I just... Yeah, it's kinda overwhelming. Thanks guys! ^_^
It's just here in our comment threads. You make the comment thread for yourself and then organize it how you'd like while doing the quests and gathering the pets or items that you'd like, building up your strength and your weapons, and battling monsters. :) No other site or anything just all text based here.Checking out the threads of others can help you see how they organized their threads and decide how you'd like yours to look.
Questions just help us learn so there's never harm in asking here -- we don't bite, that's just the rats and bats and drop bears. ;) haha.

Q: What books can I count?
You may count any books read after you start over 100 pages. You may work on any unexpired quests. Expired quests may be worked on using a timewalking potion or a NBRC Gift Card.

They have the requirement stated in the quest description. All other tasks require 100+ page books.
There isn't a requirement on the type of book though so graphic novels and children's books count where they normally don't during group challenges.Also, audiobooks you can use as their default (or most common) paged version.
Also if anyone every needs Phoenix feathers, I have a bajillion that I'm probably never going to need, so would be willing to sell them for a pitifully low price.

lol. I'm down to banking all my books since I've done almost everything apart from the repeatables. If anyone has some specific needs let me know -- I might have it. (Books, drops, etc.)
I've been really busy lately. And as a result I've read next to nothing since September. The workload is slowly getting better FINALLY so I read a little more now. That's why I still haven't activated my shield gems apart from the blue one. I still haven't got the slingshot. I'm reading my last book towards the Kitchen II quest only now. It's CRAZY!
I feel ya Zuzana! I have been reading, but significantly less ever since I started this new job and can't listen to audiobooks at work (gasp!). I'm working on tons of scroungers because I need about 40 health potions to get allll the gems for me shield in one go.
I'm excited for random monsters because I'm hoping they'll provide some health potions to get me there faster ;)
Yay, Rebecca, to kill them all in one major sweep. That's the way to do it. :-) And after the fighting is over you can display your brand new shiny shield in the tavern do we can admire it. ;)
You know we're here to cheer you on! I'm excited for anything. I will be really excited if someone actually runs out of batteries at some point, because that seems to be my "white whale".
