This is perfect... I had to put down Tea is so Intoxicating recently so I’ll read it for this challenge. It’s written by Mary Essex aka Ursula Bloom.

Tracey, I’m just worried how accessible it would be. It’s a British Library Women Writers rerelease. Looking on Amazon, that’s the only listing and I don’t find one copy in an inter library search.

That is something to consider. Maybe another book by Ursula Bloom as I know Dean Street Press is reprinting her works.

That was the one I thought of.

The other one I was trying to remember the name of is To Bed With Grand Music by Marghanita Laski. I think the character was based on someone she knew, so she published under a pseudonym.

Agatha Christie published some books under the name Mary Westmacott. I might nominate one of those.
