I read this book sometime between 2010-2017 and it's a SciFi teen book with some romance I believe as well. I don't remember the author or any names but the plot is that some teenagers, maybe 4, were abducted by aliens or something and were put in a fake Earth environment where they were tasked with populating it. They were also being studied by the aliens I believe. The main character is a girl who I think has feelings for one of the alien abductors - who I remember being described as having golden or orange skin. I remember that the ending had led me to believe at the time that it was a series, but I never followed up on it.
