I loved the Cranford miniseries on PBS back in the day. Have always wanted to read the book! Keep us posted on how you like it!

I loved Cranford Katrina, although my favourite still remains North and South which I think was the first one I read.

I'm considering a few for this one; Lady Audley's Secret, The Heir of Redclyffe or A Dark Night's Work.

Nidhi Kumari I will be reading Uncle Tom's Cabin for this category.

message 6: by Clarissa (new)

Clarissa (clariann) | 61 comments I have read Willa Cather's 'Death Comes for the Archbishop', which I found very moving and it was set in an area that I don't know very well in contrast to the many Victorian Britain novels I have read.
