Diego and Ita have been like brother and sister since before he was even adopted, which happened due to the murder of his own parents and older sister. It came to no surprise, not even to his six year old brain, that he became a very silent person. It took years for him to even think of talking to someone who he didn't live with. It took even longer to get him to stop whispering. But he stayed by his side every step of the way, happy to be his light when he needed him to.
Although he'll never admit it, but in middle school, he had once crushed on the boy he called his brother. How could he not? He had grown up with him, and watched him grow into a handsome young man. It is unknown to anyone but Ita and his adoptive family of what the reason why he is such a silent person. At the small age of six years old, he had come home to the sight of the murder of his parents and his big sister. The only people he had left who knew him most were the Livingston's, a small family of three with a half-Spanish son he always saw as his brother. They welcomed the traumatized child with open arms and adopted him. Kai was eleven years old when he became the victim of a lightning strike, giving him a massive litchenberg figure scar on his back. For months on end he constantly believed he had become unattractive in the eyes of his family, and once he was able to get back into school, he learnt how to hide his true emotions from everyone. Everyone except Jay and Indra, of course.
Hiding his true feelings of hatred for his scar has left him silently crying himself to sleep on multiple occasions. He has held onto years of fear of being judged and abanndoned if anyone not only found out about his scar, but also his complex sexuality of abrosexuality, and it's starting to break him. He's in desperate need of someone who will help him stop holding in his every negative thought and opinion of himself, and maybe someone would help him realize that lightning scars look badass.

Jay is a terrible person to confront. If you're lucky, he'll ignore you. He has a sharp tongue that is not afraid to use hurtful words just to be alone. His dark and hostile nature has led others to believe he's just an over all bad guy, but that simply isn't the case. Every mean word or action is just a defense mechanism. It would be expected, with the emotional and mental abuse he's had to put up with. Internally, he's a sweetheart who's just lonely, and just doesn't understand or even know how to show how he cares.
In love, he seems like the tough guy in the relationship, but he's actually the opposite. His heart is fragile and easy to break. He'll give the girl his undivided attention if she simply asks. What I mean by fragile, is that he'll even ignore his own health if she tells him to. He is a danger to himself when he's in love, and that's why Kai is so insistent on being with him when a girl comes his way. Kai worries for his foster brother's easy-to-manipulate heart, and he refuses to let a girl come close to him without her proving her worth.

Jay was always neglected by his family. His sister, Isabela had been expected. His mother, Felicia, convinced the poor four year old boy he was an accident. That he wasn't supposed to exist. His father, Nathan, was an alcoholic who would eventually drink himself to his death. When he turned ten, Jay snapped. He had enough of the pain, and he was done with the woman who was causing it.
"SHUT UP!" Jay screamed at his female look-a-like. "I am not an accident, I do have a purpose! I'll prove you wrong!" It wasn't long until the child had run out of the building he had called home.
Jay was eventually found by a sweetheart of a child by the name of Kai. The blond was fasinated by Jay's unusual silver eyes, and had called his twin over to see. What is this? Were his first thoughts to a warm feeling in his chest.
"Mom, Dad, can we keep him?" Wai- wha-?
The next thing he knew, the twin's parents came and listened to him. He felt tears start falling down his exhausted when Diana hugged him, asking if he wanted to stay with them.
"Y-yes," he nodded, wiping his eyes that refused to let up with his crying. "I'd like to stay," after seeing the joy that Kai held in his golden-yellow eyes, and the curiosity in Indra's [colour] ones, he finally started to learn what 'family' meant.

Jade has a very prickly personality; she is known for being sassy, dark, grouchy, and sarcastic to those around her. She has a macabre sense of humor, usually saying things about people being hit by a bus at various episodes, as well as somewhat sadistic tendencies, such as enjoying people getting hurt.
