Brittain *Needs a Nap and a Drink* (bwilliams2013) I have a plot bunny dancing around my head for a reverse harem. I'll let y'all know if anything comes from it.

And yeah let us know if you do write it :) could always use more books for my RH addiction.

Cece Rose (cheskiturtle) | 15 comments Read the 2nd veil book last night, just finished it and posted a review if you're interested.

It was good, but I was hoping for more development on the RH front.

Queen of the Ravagers Queen of the Ravagers (The Ravager Chronicles Book 4) by Sara Page was released this week and I loved it! This instalment brings this 4 book series to a close. Readers who enjoy sci-fi RH will like this one!

Guys I read Knights Knights (Aurum Book 1) by Ava Ryant which is book one of a new RH series and really liked it! It is a fantasy setting and the h was only 20. I really liked her though. There are 5 H's and there is a HFN and a good plot as well. Can't wait for bk2!! FYI, the book has some sexy scenes, which I enjoyed.

Cece Rose (cheskiturtle) | 15 comments Sooooooooooooo............. Maybe I might have written a Reverse-Harem book.

Here's the GR link: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...

I'll post more updates about the release as I have them. - Sorry if this kind of post isn't allowed. - Just let me know and I'll remove it.

You're kidding!
No thats fine, we have so few RH authors out there, RH lovers have to stick together!! We look forward to your updates.
Maybe if more RH authors post here we could create an exclusive thread for them...would love more RH books:D:D

On another note has any one read Rough Stock, Part 1: A Reverse Harem Romance Rough Stock, Part 1 A Reverse Harem Romance by Alexandria Hunt ? It seems to be a serial RH romance with chapter-instalments coming out in KU. I think 3/4 instalments are released now. Any idea if they're good?

I plan to wait till all of them are out and give it a try...

message 111: by Cece (new)

Cece Rose (cheskiturtle) | 15 comments Nope! No kidding here! :)

I was thinking to myself there wasn't enough RH books in the world, and then this crazy idea came to me! So I figured I'd attempt to contribute to our crazy RH world. :') (Hopefully i didn't do too bad a job haha!)

Just a little info for you all then haha.... - It's an Urban-Fantasy Reverse-Harem book. So there is magic as well as hot guys, haha!
- It's slow build over a few books, but she meets all the guys in book one.
- It's a little dark at times with some death, blood and some swearing.
- The only trigger I can think of would be physical violence? As there is absolutely no cheating/rape scenes. (I wouldn't be able to write it. eck)

It will only be available on Amazon Kindle as I am going to have it on Kindle Unlimited :)

I'll post more info once the release date is set! <3
_______________________________________________

Are you on the RH group on Facebook? - Pretty much all the authors are members on there and everyone's super friendly :) I can get a link to share.....

LINK: https://www.facebook.com/groups/60207...

***Also worth noting it's a closed group, so only members can see your posts! :) ***

On that note, I haven't read Rough Stock personally, but people have been posting about it on the RH Facebook group and they have said that the sections are short, but enjoyable and that they would recommend waiting till the whole thing has been released before reading :)

Sounds intriguing! I'm glad there are no cheating scenes. In general reading H/h romancing OW/OM while getting to the HEA is not my idea of fun!!I've been disappointed with a couple of RH series that've gone that way...KU is great, will look forward to seeing you on there!

Thanks for the link and the update on the Rough Stock. Yay! Another RH book to look forward to:)

Rena | 12 comments That's awesome Cheski!! Oh yeah, there are so not enough RH out there, especially slow-building ones -love those!

I don't use social media myself, but maybe we could put the RH Facebook link on the front page for people who are interested. That way they wouldn't have to go theough this thread to find the link...just an idea.

Also Cry Werewolf (Godhunter Book 20) by Amy Sumida Cry Werewolf was released this week. It seemed full of action and rushing around compared to previous instalments which were longer and more relationship-focused, but I still liked it!

Dark Hearts by P.L. Midnight Dark Hearts

This was a PNR RH romance set in high school and I enjoyed it a lot! At times it reminded me of Lani Whitt's pack series, just the worldbuilding a bit.

Nikki Bolvairs Just Married (The Faith Series Book 5) by Nikki Bolvair Just Married, bk5 in this series is out this month.

Finding Valor (The Searchers Book 2) by Ripley Proserpina Finding Valor is also out this month

message 128: by Cece (new)

Cece Rose (cheskiturtle) | 15 comments Also, Jane Washington's book 4 in the seraph black series is out at the end of this month the 31st I think. ( available for preorder now, I'll post a review as soon as I've received and read my ARC from her on like the 24th)

And lane whitt's 3rd book is available for preorder now I believe. (I'm not sure on the actual release date though)

Dark Hearts could have definitely used a good editor!

Reclaiming Their Love (Wings of Artemis 4) by Rebecca Royce Reclaiming Their Love is out now and this week, I also read the Twilight court series which starts with Fairy-Struck (The Twilight Court, #1) by Amy Sumida Fairy-Struck. The latest instalment, bk6 Elf-Shot (Book 6 in The Twilight Court Series) by Amy Sumida Elf-Shot has finally brought the series into RH territory. Readers who liked Merry Gentry and the Godhunter series may enjoy this!

Of Death And Darkness
Since I've got book two in the works, I haven't had a lot of time for reading. I did pick this up a few days ago and if you haven't had a chance to check it out you should. It's original and a great RH read!

Hi there, It was part of the RH anthology if I'm not wrong. I remember it being good but one of the shorter stories in the anthology. Left me wanting for more! Maybe the author fleshed it out more in the rerelease, IDK.

Some of the RH books this month that I read and liked are:

Black and Green (The Ghost Bird, #11) by C.L. Stone Black and Green - found it really well written!

Delicate Beauty (A Lovely Dearest Series Book 1) by Nikki Bolvair Delicate Beauty - this was great too!

A Symphony of Sirens (The Spellsinger, #2) by Amy Sumida A Symphony of Sirens - was okay, in fact I felt the h was a bit of a cheater

Jupiter's Shadow by TL Reeve Jupiter's Shadow - was okay too!

There were more RH releases that I didn't finish or didn't like for one reason or the another but other readers may have different opinions.

Do you think its a good idea to make this a readers only group? Sometimes its hard to be frank about your likes and especially dislikes when your author is also a part of the group.

I don't want the RH group to be gushing like fangirls all the time( though we can!) but for this also to be a space where RH readers can speak freely without worrying about hurting feelings or egos.

What do you think?

In my opinion, it would be the same as them reading reviews. Some people can be harsh, frank, or gushing in reviews anyway. Regardless it'll help them know what a majority of fans like. Also, I think it would be a little unfair to exclude them if they're a fan of RH books too and looking for new reads.

message 149: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer G | 7 comments I personally love having authors in groups. They are also readers and fans of the genre.

Brittain *Needs a Nap and a Drink* (bwilliams2013) I think having authors here is fine. I mean, they write books to put them out in the world and not everybody is going to love them but we all seem to be pretty respectful of each other here.
