Meet Morgan Reid, the fiery red headed reporter for the Daily Times and confirmed city girl, through and through.
Sent to cover a nearby rodeo, Morgan intends to interview the Huntington Four champion bull riders and get out of there like her tail was on fire.
Little did she know that nature would intervene and force her to spend the night.
Little did she know the Huntington Four cowboys would all be deliciously attractive, each in their own way, making it impossible to choose her favorite.
But little did she know, none of them actually expected her to choose.
As with all my stories, this one is rated 18+ for adult situations, language and downright toe curling dirty bits. This is a reverse harem romance, where the ultimate fantasy comes true...not only do these hot hunks take care of their woman's sexual needs, they do dishes and laundry too! (Come on, it's fantasy.)
This is short book is part one in a serial romance. Part two is coming very soon. Follow my author page to get alerts when the next sexy story is ready to read.
Alexandria Hunt believes in filthy talking bad boys with hearts of gold for their one and only, she also believes in happy ever afters and love above all.
Ugh, serial quicksand! Kindle Unlimited. Instalove eye-roller. I stumbled across this because I was searching for "reverse harem" on Amazon. It wasn't bad....it was just the literary version of cotton candy. Too much sweetness! Everything was too perfect. (shrug) Recommended as filler only.
2 stars I purchased the 10 book series Rough Stock by Alexandria Hunt and this review was given freely. Each book is really a short excerpt which contains one to three brief errotic or suspenseful scenes relating the sometimes dangerous life of investigative reporter Morgan, her strained family relationship, and the loving steamy relationship she shares with four cowboys. Each section ends with a cliffhanger. The overall tale is good however the reading is tedious and filled with many typos. I had such high expectation and was greatly disappointed. To place a review on each section would basically involve a one line spoiler.
This book had so much potential in my mind. It started off with a journalist, which is my major and so relatable, going to cover a rodeo.
For the most part it was okay. It was definitely steamy. I mean, most girls are lucky to land one steamy man that is head over heels with her, must less four of them.
The general story would probably be worth a 3-3.5 stars, but there were large portions of the story missing throughout the book and some parts were duplicated, which made reading extremely difficult.
Lots of potential for a fantasy story, but overall I wouldn't recommend with out some updates.
I was stuck between 3 and 4 stars. This started off really good and seems to be a promising series. Can't wait for the rest. The only thing that had me stuck between 3 and 4 stars was Morgan. It's still so early to tell but she is a typical city girl. I like my characters a little more down to earth. But like I said. Still really early. Besides that, it's really good so far. Can't wait for more!
I'm only giving it a two, for writing it deserves a five. But sadly the book is so short. 99p... That great for a book. This can not be called a book, I've read chapters longer than this. Great if you have KU. But those that don't?? It's going to cost at least £8 to read the available parts. And that's probably the size of a book. And i refuse to pay £8 for a book. If it was j r ward.. whose book is £5.99 for the second newest.. 500+ pages. And she's been about for years. I totally think this writer is amazing. I was hooked within seconds. I just personally feel when they do this, your taking advantage of your readers.
